Anika's POV
I was surfing on the internet when I saw a picture of me and Darren wearing hand cuffs... With a caption " they caught each other! How inseparable yieee! I smile as remember it..

*flashback*
So class please wear the handcuffs I told you to bring the other day.. I Was on the left and he was on the right.. It's a good thing that he's right handed and I'm a lefty... So when it comes to writing.. It not a problem.. And we have to wear it till lunch time is done...It was kind of embarrassing at first.. Everybody was staring at us... Cause were the only partner who's not the same gender as I am or like him..
It was lunch time already and it was kind of embarrassing Especially when eating.. I have to use the spoon on the left and drop it to use the fork.. While cath was enjoying watching us.. She's just lucky she's not under ma'am nenes.. Our science teacher...

You two look like couples... as cath shove a veggie salad giggling...
And again I blush like it's the end of the world while Darren laugh pointing at my red cheeks...

Till it was 1pm there was marks but it was okay.. I keep thinking about the whole situation thing and it keeps on bugging and OMG! I'm blushing! Just snap out of it. And play it cool.

My phone ring..it was from Darren...

A-what's up D, need some help from various subjects? I said in a tease-y way...
L-hi! Ate Anika.. This is lynelle actually.. I need your help.. Can you come over at our place.. It's kinda an emergency please!

I ask my mom if I could go to Darren's house.. She nod and said "be back before 10.. Remember tomorrow's Monday..." I kiss her at the cheeks..

I press their doorbell and it was immediately open by lynelle.. Pumasok ako and look a round it kinda peaceful and glommy..
"Where's tita and tito?" I ask lynelle.. And where's your yaya gez? E she in a day off?
"No. Mommy and daddy are going back to Canada to arrange some papers and yaya gez is at the backyard.. Doing laundry.." She answered..
"She's still doing laundry In the night?" I ask.. But she didn't answer instead she pull me to Darren's room... It was dark the only light was he's lamp...

D,are you okay? I open the lights and walk to he's bed.. He was covered.. Like he's whole body... Lynelle grab Darren's phone and try contacting there parents..

"What's going on Lynelle?"
"Kuya is sick.. I tried calling mommy and daddy but they won't answer.. I think there already in the plane..." She answered..
Did you already tell yaya gez? I ask again... She ran to the backyard..
I remove the blanket but only up to he's shoulder...
I check he's forehead.. He's very hot.. Then yaya gez came running while her hands were still wet and covered with bubbles...

Yaya.. Kindly grab the first aid.. And kindly check if the thermometer is there.. She walk out of the room while lynelle sat beside me... Looking at Darren...
"Is kuya going to be alright?" She ask "he will baby don't worry.."
Yaya gez came in with the thermometer and the first aid... I tried waking Darren up...

Hey D, can you open your eyes? He open he's eyes a little..then close it back again..
Hey open your mouth for a sec.. I'm just going to insert this thermometer... He did, and I put the thermometer there.. I waited for it to beep.. "39.4" shoot! Your very hot.. "D,ren.. Common.. Get up your covered in sweat.. You have to change.. He got up and make some groan sound... He was half asleep I remove he's t-shirt and replace it with a fresh one... He was about to lay down again.. But I didn't let him.. Instead I let him sit down he lean against the wall.. I put a pillow behind so it would be comfortable... I ask yaya gez to cook lugaw..
