New queen bee (chapter 16)

Anika's POV
"Welcome back Anika!" My old classmates and schoolmates said. It's been 5 days since I was in the hospital . They all squish me in a bear hug while other pinch my cheeks.. "You got chubby!" Victoria said. Victoria is one of my classmates before. She was my seat mate and a friend.. "That's enough!" Lili said as she pull my collar and drag me beside her. "Her boyfriend will get mad at me..I told him I would take care of her." She said like she was proud of it. "Oh right! Her boyfriend is famous in Philippines! What's his name again.. Dar-dawen? Fay ask. Now Fay is a sophomore while us are juniors... She's the only sophomore in our group. Yeah I have a barkada and the name is " fa ritzy" we are all stylish when it comes to outfits and we have 12 members.

*Sofia- the ms. Richie rich
*Victoria -the fashion nerd.
*Fay -the jolly.
*lili- the violent. Cause she's in Judo class.
*me-the "talented"
*Natasha-party girl
*Kylie-shy girl but also known as "hail-fellow-well-met"

*rose- the group's connections to everything.

"It's Darren." Lili said. And he's also famous in Canada..
Lili, please stop bragging about Darren.. I said. as I fix my collar.. "He's coming tomorrow. That's how he loves Anika and they call each other chummy.." Everybody was giggling and I know lili's just holding the laugh so I pinch her cheeks and cover her mouth so she won't scream. "Then Sofia said. "Oh and by the way we have a new queen bee..and she's worse that ginger." They all nod. Ginger is my most hated enemy she would push aside and mess my hair,hide all my make up kit,put spiders on my locker and even set me traps! But fortunately she graduate and now we have a new queen bee. "Who e she? I ask. "There gaze turn to.. O my wicked tuna! Her?! I shouted they all cover my mouth and drag me to a corner.. "It can't possibly her? I mean the new comer is now a famous female dog?" I said in disbelief. "Watch the word Niks." Roselle said. "Harsh world isn't it?" Natalie said.

Okay I can't believe that "Jamie Rae" is the new queen bee. If you think queen bee stands for "popularity." No oh. You got it all wrong. "Queen bee means a "famous female bully" to us fa ritzy. And did you know everyone in my group got bullied. Yeah it a charity everyone. "Jamie is a sophomore. It's a good thing that she's not in the same class as Fay. And she has this angelic face with a blond hair and a curled eye lashes who would have thought this girl gonna take the next position. And she's in the same neighborhood as lili. Small world."

Then I receive a text message from of course the one and only Darren espanto.
"Hello chummy! I wasted 50 pesos for this! Lol! It's worth it.. Just saying that 1 day left! And lynelle's coming! Also mom. My P.A decided to have a little vacation with his family so no choice. :p and kindly tell tito and tita were coming over.. I can't wait to see your house.. And please be my tour guide! And don't forget that jk's coming shh! Don't tell lili! He said he want it as a surprise. And by the way chummy I saved you and your friends a sit and it's VIP so see ya! Muah! :*.

They all ask what's the "commotions " about. "Darren. Reminding me to be his tour guide that's all." I said as I walk to my next class. But honestly I want to jump around so bad but I'm at school with my friends.and in one day I would be with him so I'm going to catch up to them.

Sofia,roselle and pia are my classmates.

"Natasha is having a party on Sunday.. Wanna come Niks?" Roselle said.
"Sure! It's been a while." I said. Then Sofia grab my wrist and pull roselle's uniform.
"Hey!" Roselle and I said at the same time. "Jamie is here."she said. We look at Jamie and she already has this big crown on her head. Like really her headband is a crown.
Roselle was holding back the laugh but failed.

Hahahahahahahaha!! Roselle laughed. Everybody turn to her. Stoping at their tracks. And look at her as if she got paranoid. After like 2 minutes she sober. "I just can't believe that someone will wear that kind of crown! I mean she look like Minney mouse but Minney mouse is much,much,much way better than her. And her dress.. I mean give me a break! Hahahahaha! Roselle said. We just look at her and laugh along. She can be kalog sometimes.

The class was boring as usual. Sometimes I wonder if Mayron halaga ang algebra sa pag tra-trabaho natin.. Like if your going to to be a saleslady and the customer gave you the money would you say. "Wait ma'am e parabola ko lang at kukunin ko yung X.. And if your going to give the change... At yung change niyo ma'am is 2x= 10..." All I could say is "well damn." So I just did the old routine.. Since I was always at the widow side I just stared at the clouds and trees as wind bends them.

I still remember when Anika had asthma..

I need you! She said obviously panicking. I was at the dressing room that time and my hair was being styled. But I was worried too. Knowing she has asthma and still right now I can't believe she's an athlete. Then when I heard the words "I can't breath." My heart starts pumping fast. It got even faster that I know she didn't bring her inhaler. I heard screams at the other line and a loud thug. I keep calling her name and I could hear tito and Tita's voice. Till she said "I love you." Then gone. Then the director called us tvk top 4 while I was at the stage I had this worried face on and when ate Alex ask what's wrong I announce it and I'm starting to regret it. "Anika just got attack by asthma and I don't know what's happening to her. She's at London today and I'm hoping that she will be okay." My eyes becoming teary. Ate Alex hug me and said "kaya yan ni Anika.. I pag dasal lang natin. Did I mention it was live? Well sorry it was live. After my performance I immediately called her.. I don't know how many times it was but every time the female voice would appear I would get mad and try again. "Anika answer my text and calls you promise diba!" I said. I didn't notice that lynelle was recording it. Till she post it on instagram and it got trending.

After like 3 or 4 hours she called back. And thank heavens she's okay. And now in 24 hours I'm going to visit her. Buckingham palace would be the first thing I want to see and the second one would be the Big Ben. I only got one week so might as well live it to the fullest!
