Trying to dodge his cousin's hits wasn't a method that was working particularly well for Chanyeol.

"Yah, calm down, Jongin!" Chanyeol said, finally able to stand tall once Jongin gave beating him over the head a break. "It's not that big of a deal!"

"Are you kidding me, Chanyeol?!" Jongin said angrily. "It is a big deal! He barely understands what it means to be someone's boyfriend and yet you still decide to tell him about sex? What kind of insane person are you?"

"Look, I'm sorry for stepping out of my boundary, but, he's not a child, Jongin. He was going to find out soon enough and you're lucky he didn't find out in another way. So, before you go all homicide mode on me, trying considering the fact that I was doing you a favor."

"He may not be a child, but he thinks like one and no child needs to know about that before they're supposed to," he said. "You should have just dropped it. No, you should have never brought it up in the first place."

"Okay, I'm sorry," Chanyeol said as his eyes widened slightly, holding his hands up in front of him. "I won't do it again."

"You better not or else you'll be living in a cardboard box," Jongin said. Chanyeol just scoffed and scowled at him, mumbling something under his breath as he turned his head away.

"Nini..." Kyungsoo said in a small voice, stepping slowly and carefully out of the bedroom, his arms crossed over his chest. Jongin turned his head in the direction of him when his voice entered his ear, immediately walking over to him. "I am sorry, Jongin. I should not have said anything. I made you mad."

"No, baby, you didn't make me mad," Jongin said, placing his hands on either side of Kyungsoo's neck. "You didn't do anything wrong. It was Chanyeol's fault for being a moron and not shutting his mouth when he should have."

"I'm still here, you know," Chanyeol said. "I didn't die." Jongin only looked back at him and gave him the evil eye in response.

"Maybe not yet, but you will if you don't shut your mouth," he said. Kyungsoo peeked out from behind Jongin just in time to see Chanyeol roll his eyes, walking over to the futon afterward. "From now on," Jongin said, putting the loving look back in his eyes and turning back to Kyungsoo, "I don't want you to listen to anything he says, okay? He doesn't know what he's talking about. You just listen to me."

"Again, still here," Chanyeol said.

"Shut up, Chanyeol," Jongin said, glancing at him once again. "Before I make you."

"Aish...so violent." Chanyeol shook his head, resting his back against the couch.

"Are you sure you are not mad at me, Jongin?" Kyungsoo asked in his still quiet voice. "I did not mean to make you mad."

"No, Soo, I'm not mad at you," Jongin said, switching back to the warm and kind Jongin Kyungsoo liked. "It's not your fault." A deep blush and smile found their place on Kyungsoo's face as Jongin's hand gently stroked his cheek. Jongin couldn't help but smile at the adorable sight in front of his eyes, the feeling of anger and frustration gradually evaporating into thin air the longer he looked. Shifting his hand to his face, Jongin leaned forward and pressed a tender kiss to Kyungsoo's forehead that only managed to make Kyungsoo smile even more, his eyes now perfectly resembling crescents. "Let's go take a bath, okay?" he said.

"Okay," Kyungsoo said, forgetting about the day's dilemma entirely as Jongin walked him back to the bathroom, his hand resting on the low of his back. Jongin sent one last warning glare to Chanyeol, who just rolled his eyes and laid down on the futon after seeing the younger disappear.

He didn't know giving someone the talk could have such dramatic results.

In the days succeeding, Chanyeol became very cautious about what he said to Kyungsoo. It wasn't his fault that he had a habit of being mischievous, he thought. Life was just boring without a little trouble to stir up every once and a while. Apparently, though, his cousin didn't think like that. So, he just decided to keep his distance--and his life.

But on Jongin's side of things, he was already one step ahead of Chanyeol. He started to take Kyungsoo to work with him as much as he could, which made Kyungsoo beyond happy. He preferred to be with Jongin anyway.

"Jongin?" Kyungsoo, who was sitting on the counter top, asked as the elder cooked dinner for the two of them, as Chanyeol was out with some friends on that particular night.

"Yeah, baby?" replied Jongin in a soothing voice. Kyungsoo's question slipped his mind for a moment when he heard Jongin call him baby, something he had been doing a lot of ever since that day as well. His mother used to call him baby sometimes, but it sounded so much different coming from Jongin's mouth. It made tiny shivers roll through the Kyungsoo's body every time he called him that.

"I do not want to annoy you," he started, kicking his legs against the cupboard, "but I want to ask you a question."

"I figured that," Jongin said, glancing at him and chuckling. "Go ahead and ask. I won't mind."

"Have you ever had sex before?" The happy expression on Jongin's face fell slightly. So, they were back on this subject.

"Why?" he said. "Are you still thinking about that?"

"Kind of," Kyungsoo said. Jongin sighed a little and put the lid on the pot before moving so that he was standing in front of his boyfriend.

"Yes, I have," he answered, placing his hands flat on Kyungsoo's thighs. "But I'll tell you right now that you shouldn't worry about it right now."

"Why not?" inquired Kyungsoo, cocking his head to the left slightly.

"Because it's not important for us at this point," Jongin said. "Sex is something couples shouldn't worry about until they've been together for a lot longer."

"Do all couples wait for a long time to have sex?"

"No, not all of them." Jongin shook his head. "But every couple is different, which means that we have every right to wait. Besides, sex is a big deal in a relationship and I want you to be sure that you're ready for that. Do you think you are?"

Kyungsoo's head shook from side to side. "No," he said.

"Well, then there's no need to think about it," Jongin said with a small shrug of his shoulders. "You just keep being my adorable little angel and we'll think about sex when the time is right."

Kyungsoo giggled. "Okay, Jongin," he said, his faintly blushing cheeks puffed out as he smiled. Smiling, Jongin leaned forward more and pecked the younger's lips with a kiss that was both short and sweet, proceeding with dinner afterward. Kyungsoo smiled brightly at Jongin as he watched him cook, swinging his legs back and forth in happiness.

He liked being Jongin's angel.
