Giggle after giggle escaped from Kyungsoo's smiling lips as Jongin covered skin with kisses.
The morning moments when Jongin would flood him with love in the form of tender kisses and sweet words right after he first turned were his favorite. They made him feel as if he was no longer on Earth but on some other planet where there were no such thing as curses that make you half dog. On that planet, Kyungsoo was able to be with Jongin all the time and cuddle with him night and day without having to worry about the clock constantly. He wished that planet was real.
"What do you wanna do today?" Jongin asked softly, carding his fingers through Kyungsoo's hair as their fingers interlocked. It was the last day of his vacation and they didn't really have anything planned.
"Um..." Kyungsoo hummed as he thought, his dark, round pupils moving around in his eyes. "I want to stay in bed with you all day."
Jongin laughed. "Really?" he said, eyebrows raised and lips curved into a grin. "All day?"
"All day," Kyungsoo said, smiling brightly at the elder. "That is all I want to do, Jongin, be with you forever. That would make me really happy."
Smiling, Jongin leaned forward and kissed Kyungsoo's lips. "That would make me really happy, too," he whispered against his lips, the pink skin brushing against that of Kyungsoo's lips before curling up into an even bigger smile before connecting with the smaller's again.
A forever with Kyungsoo sounded pretty nice. As much as he wanted to take things slow, Jongin could already see himself having a future with Kyungsoo. He often even wondered what he was doing before Kyungsoo came into his life. There really was no escaping it anymore; he was absolutely head over heels in love with him.
And that was absolutely terrifying to Jongin.
As the kisses began to grow and develop, there was a knock on Jongin's front door. He parted lips with Kyungsoo and groaned, temporarily laying his head in the crook of Kyugsoo's neck.
"That better not be Taemin," he mumbled before he rolled off of Kyungsoo and got out of bed. "Don't go anywhere," he said playfully, turning back around and pointing at his boyfriend.
"Okay, Jongin," Kyungsoo replied, giggling. Jongin chuckled and then left the room, sliding the shirt he picked up off the floor earlier before making his way out to the living room.
"Oh, dude," Chanyeol said from his laying spot on the couch, "someone's at the door."
Jongin's eyes shrunk into a glare. "Gee, thanks for telling me, Chanyeol," he said, his voice booming with sarcasm. "I don't know what I'd do without you."
"You're welcome," Chanyeol replied before putting his eyes back on the television. Jongin rolled his eyes and walked over to the door, twisting the doorknob and pulling it open.
"Oh, geez," he said, scrunching up his face in annoyance when he saw Taemin standing at the door.
"Kim Jongin," he said with an offended look on his face, placing his hand dramatically over his heart, "how dare you get a boyfriend and not tell me, your gay best friend? What kind of person are you? Have you no decency or consideration of me and my feelings?"
"How did you even know?" Jongin asked, eyebrows creased deeply.
"I saw you leave the movie theater with that 'friend from America' you were looking after. It's funny, you two seem like a bit more than friends if you ask me."
Jongin sighed heavily and threw his head back for a moment. "Come in," he said, stepping to the side and holding the door open. "I'll explain."
"You better," Taemin said, scoffing as he walked past him. "You owe me that at least. I'm over here thinking I was the sexual minority in this friendship, but it turns out that there were two of us."
