9:55 a.m.
The suspense was absolutely killing Kyungsoo. The suspense leading up to ten was killing him.
9:58 a.m.
Two more minutes! Kyungsoo thought to himself. He couldn't wait to see what gift he would get from Jongin and how pretty the lit up tree would look against the white snow outside.
10:00 a.m.
Finally, it was time! Kyungsoo's small dog body morphed into his human one. A wide and excited quickly spread across his heart-shaped lips before he jumped out of bed and quickly put on one of Jongin's big shirts and a pair of his boxers. He then scattered over to the window, the sight of the snow blanketing the ground making him even more thrilled.
"Jongin, Jongin!" Kyungsoo said with the utmost cheer and excitement in his voice, getting back on the bed and patting the younger with his hands. "Wake up, Jongin!"
"Ugh..." Jongin groans sleepily and groggily, taking his face out of his pillow and trying to his best to open his eyes.
"Merry Christmas, Jongin!" Kyungsoo said happily with an adorable eye smile on his face, pecking the elder's cheek with a kiss before sitting up completely. Jongin couldn't deny how much he looked forward to being greeted by him in the morning, especially on a day where he was so excited.
"Merry Christmas, Soo," Jongin replied, finally able to sit up.
"Jongin?" Kyungsoo said as the taller rubbed his eyes and yawned.
"Yeah?" Jongin said.
"Are you awake?"
Jongin uncovered his face and just looked at him with one eyebrow cocked. "Yes," he answered slowly. "Yes, I am awake.'
"Good because I want to open my present now!" Kyungsoo said, hopping off the bed again and starting to run out into the living room before Jongin's voice called him back.
"Wait, wait, wait," he said, forcing his body out of bed and over to his closet. He found a random pair of checked pajama pants and walked them over to Kyungsoo. "You should probably put these on first," he said, observing how Kyungsoo was only wearing a shirt and boxers. Blushing a little in embarrassment, Kyungsoo took the pants from Jongin and slid them on.
"Can I go now?" he asked, appearing as if he was going to jump out of his skin at any moment.
Jongin chortled. "Yes, you can go now," he said with a couple nods.
"Yay!" He clapped his hands together and skipped out of the bedroom happily, making the elder laugh again and shake his head faintly. Since he only had to throw on a t-shirt, Jongin was out of his bedroom right after him and joined his boyfriend, and soon Chanyeol, out in the living room once he was supplied with a healthy cup of coffee. "Here, Chanyeol," said Jongin as he picked up the gift he got for him and slid it in his direction. "This is yours."
"Oh, thanks," Chanyeol said, finishing swallowing his sip of coffee before setting the mug on the coffee table and opening the gift. "Did you wrap these?" he asked, taking a brief moment to examine the delicate wrapping work.
"No, Kyungsoo did," Jongin said, pointing to the boy his tongue spoke of. "He wrapped them all actually. He was way better at it than I was."
"No, really? I don't believe it," Chanyeol said sarcastically in response, only making Jongin smirk because he was too lazy to go over there and hit him. "Kyungsoo, you did a great job. I don't think I've seen wrapping this good before."
