"Stop worrying. Parker said him and Jordan would monitor and make sure things get done." Stacy said as we say in her car. She insisted on picking everyone up, and I was the first to join her. "He promised."
"But I can't stop worrying!" I argued. "I feel horrible for leaving them and making them do everything, Stacy." I sighed.
Stacy laughed. "They'll be fine. I've known them for a while, they'll be fine."
"Thanks." I said. I had been freaking out all morning about it. But hearing her reassure me, it really helped.
"No problem." Stacy smiled. "Text Lainey we'll be at her apartment in a few minutes."
And I did. I pulled out my phone and sent her a text, and she soon joined us in Stacy's car. "I thought you didn't live here, how do you have a car?" I asked.
Stacy laughed. "I drove here." She explained.
"Oh, duh, I forgot that people could do that." I mentally facepalmed at my stupidness.
"If it makes you feel any better, Ali, I was wondering the same thing." Lainey laughed.
"Glad to know I'm not the only one not thinking today." I smiled.
As we pulled into the hotel Bee and Dul were staying in, Stacy's phone dinged.
"Oh, right!" She said, looking at the phone. "I hope you guys don't mind, but Ryan asked if we could distract his girlfriend for today. He wants to surprise her, for Christmas you know? They both came down from Canada and he wants a reason to get her out of the way to get her something nice." Stacy smiled.
"That sounds great. Is she staying in this hotel?" I asked.
"Yeah, she should be coming out with Bee and Dul." She nodded.
"So, what are we doing today, anyways?" Lainey asked.
"Well, either we can go to the zoo, or laser-tagging." Stacy said.
"Sounds fun." Lainey said.
And before anyone else could speak, we saw three girls come towards our car. Bee opened the door as everyone piled in. "Hey!" She said.
"Hello." Dul said.
"Hi." The mystery girl said, she seemed shy.
"Hello!" I smiled to all of them, as did Lainey and Stacy.
"Guys, this is Jessie, Ryan's girlfriend." Bee introduced.
"Hi! I'm Ali, it's nice to meet you." I said.
"Same to you." She said, in a quiet voice. I noticed she had a tattoo. Or, more like a sleeve of tattoos. And I had to admit, I was jealous. Tattoos are awesome, but I'm far too scared to get one. Stacy and Lainey said their hellos, and me being my nosy self just had to ask this question.
"How long have you and Ryan been together?" I asked.
She blushed. "Uh, three years." Jessie smiled.
"And why hasn't he proposed yet?" Stacy smirked.
Jessie didn't reply, she just let the blush grow. "Dang, you guys would have a cute wedding." Bee said, nudging her arm. Jessie didn't really say anything, and we quickly got back to talking about where to go.
We were split. Dul didn't want to vote, Stacy and I voted for the zoo, while Lainey and Bee went for laser tag. "Jessie, your vote?" Stacy asked.
Jessie smiled. "Well, I'm a gamer, and I would obliterate all of you in laser tag." She smirked.
"That's a good point." Stacy said. "We are gamers, let's play laser tag!"
"I'm down." I smiled.
And off we began our journey to laser-tag.
-----
"Hey! That's a foul!!" Jessie raged. I was having a ball of a time, and really bonding with all five girls. It was nice, I didn't get to do this often. As I've said before, I don't have many friends I can do this with.
Stacy insisted on paying as "her Christmas present to all of us."
I was on a team with Jessie, Stacy and a bunch of other random people, with Lainey, Bee, Dul, and more random people on with other team. I had mainly gone for the girls, because why not? It's fun to go for your friends. And I have gotten them out a few times, as I have been taken out a few times.
I'm really having a great time, and I don't know what I would actually be doing today if they hadn't suggested a girls day. I would have probably been at the mall, doing the same thing I had been doing for the past ten days.
I was currently laughing at Jessie get mad at some kid who shot her from following her around and never leaving her. I could tell she was almost entered into swearing mode, but Stacy had calmed her down a few times. Oh, and reminding her that there were little kids everywhere did kind of help. Except I think she dropped the F-bomb a few times and some kids asked their parents what it meant.
And Bee did yell at me when I snuck up on her. Well, for one, she was scared that she was "shot" and two, I yelled boo when I found her.
But of course I was laughing too much to notice that by the time her gun was back in action, she had shot me and ran away.
I really should do this more often.
But the only reason I wouldn't do this more often,
Is because of the message I received at eleven o'clock at night.
