"Merry Christmas! Here, put this hat on." I threw the hat at Ryan.

"I thought H was santa?" Ryan laughed as he put on the Santa hat like everyone else had on. I've kind of figured out some of their nicknames, but I have had to ask a few times. Apparently Zach is Graser and Mitchell is Straub. Liam is H and Brayden is Rusher. It's kind of weird, and I have no idea where they got those names from, but I go along with it.

We are just about to the mall doors to the public. Lainey, Julio and Stacy will arrive with the food closer to eleven am for a lunch buffet and Liam, Brayden and Mitch are coming after lunch dressed as Santa and his elves to hand out some gifts.

Right now, it's a time to provide heating and a family like Christmas. We're only allowed to have the mall until five pm, but that should be enough time.

"Alright guys, let's get these doors open!" I yelled. "Everyone, places!"

Everyone lined up on either side of the door, seeing a long line already formed outside. Everyone had a bag filled with hats, and we're ready to spread some Christmas cheer. I was standing across from Parker, and next to Ryan, "Here we go," I said as Parker and I grabbed the doors and pulled them open.

"Merry Christmas!" All of us said in unison to the people beginning to walk in.

Some people were old, some were young, some were just kids, but they all had the same reaction. They all looked around the mall in awe with how it looked, and smiled when an elf or a Santa hat was placed on their head. It was heartwarming, honestly.

The like began to slow down and there were quiet a few people inside and already talking amongst each other and the hosts. But I hadn't seen who I was waiting for, and I had began to walk away.

"Daddy! I knew we would get here late, they're
probably out of Santa hats!" A girl complained, followed by a dog bark.

I turned around and smiled at the family. "You're in luck, you and your father can have the last ones." I said, putting a Santa hat on the little girl's head and handing one to Charlie.

"Thank you." Charlie smiled, trying to make sure his dog (on a leash) was not able to get away.

"What's your name?" I asked the little girl.

"I'm Cece!" She gave a toothy smile.

"Nice to meet you Cece, I'm Ali!" I smiled back at her.

"Ali, are we gonna do this or not?" Jordan yelled from the other side of the room, coincidentally standing next to Carly.

"Yeah, everyone, gather around the tree!" I said loudly, but not yelling. It's going to be a nice day.

-----

Soon enough lunch was here and the whole group was eating turkey and potatoes and cookies, I've never heard thank you so many times.

I was sitting with Tybzi and the family I had talked to earlier. I also found out their dogs name. As Cece had explained, since it's a chocolate lab she had named him chocolate.

It seemed as if everyone was enjoying their food, and having a nice time. Most people were talking with others and even some of the hosts of the event. But this was just the start. Santa hasn't even got here yet.
