"He told you to what!" Ryan asked me.

"He told me to sleep on it, as soon as I declined him." I rolled my eyes.

"You've rolled your eyes so many times they're going to fall out soon." Jordan laughed.

"Whatever." I said.

"So, why did you say no? I mean, you already told us he was rude and obnoxious, but what else?" Jordan added on.

I shrugged. "I'm traveling with Parker. Plus, I don't want to work with anyone really associated with someone like him, he didn't even let me give credit to anyone who worked on the mall. It was stupid." I said.

"Oh yeah, how long are you in New York with Parker for?" Ryan asked.

"Like two weeks." I said. "Im not going to take some job and totally screw Parker over. I could easily find someone here to give me an internship." I told them.

"Two weeks?" Jordan asked and I nodded. "Dang, please fall in love." He smiled wide, and I slapped his arm. "What? You're my OTP!"

"Do you even know what an OTP is?" I asked him.

"Yeah, Jessie and Ryan." Jordan said and Ryan blushed.

"Speaking of Jessie, she got really mad at Julio the other day, and Eric yesterday, she gets mad easily." I observed.

Jordan laughed. "You want to see how mad she can get? Give her a call, pretend you're calling like Stacy or someone, and start talking about how Ryan smiled at you and you thought he was so cute and how dreamy his eyes are and how he's just the best person ever and you love him so much!" Jordan smiled evilly. "It'll be so funny."

"I so have to do that." I laughed.

"Oh no, good luck. She might kill you." Ryan laughed.

I shrugged and pulled out my phone, took a deep breath, and called Jessie's number.

"Hey Ali." She said.

"Oh my god Stacy! Guess what!" I squealed. "So you know Ryan, and oh my god, his smile is like, so cute! And his eyes, PERFECT!" I started acting like a fangirl. "He's just so amazing and oh my gosh I would kill to be super close with him he's just so perfect and wow and Stacy we were talking about Christmas and he's so adorable!" I took a breath, preparing for the last part. "Too bad Jessie's in the way." I sighed.

"Ali...this is Jessie." I could hear her clenching her jaw. And I was trying so hard not to laugh.

"O-oh." I tried to act scared.

"Let me tell you a thing or two." She said and I quickly put her on speaker phone so the boys could hear. She took a breath I could hear. "Back, the fuck off." She said. "I have and asSORTMENT OF SHARP AND DULL KNIVES. HELL, I WILL BRING A KATANA, IF YOU DON'T LEAVE MY BOYFRIEND ALONE. ILL USE MY KNIVES AND WATCH YOU BLEED OUT, AND SUFFER. AND ILL ENJOY EVERY LAST BIT OF IT." She yelled.

Ryan, Jordan, and I were all trying to hide our leaves but it was still clear that we were laughing. "Jessie, I have something to tell you." I told her and moved the phone closer to Ryan.

"What." She snapped.

Ryan laughed a little bit. "Hey babe." He said into the phone.

"Ry?" Jessie asked. "What the hell is going on here?" She asked.

I laughed. "Ryan and Jordan were saying how you can get mad so easily, so I decided to test it out." I said.

Jessie started to talk. "Oh my god al-"

"Miss Ali James." A familiar face said.

I looked at the man and my eyes got wide. "Gotta go, Jessie." I said and hung up quickly. "Mr. Eric Bennet." I nodded.

Ryan rolled his eyes when seeing how Eric approaches us and began to talk. "Have you made your decision about my offer?" He asked and he took the extra seat at our table, that no one even offered. Jordan laughed a bit when seeing his rude side.

"Actually, yes." I told him. "I slept on it, but alas, sleeping didn't change my decision. My answer is still no." I told him.

He seemed confused as to why I declined him. "You do realize this is a once in a life opportunity, right? I'll give you one more chance to say yes." He told me.

"My answer is still no." I told him, not even waiting a second. There was no way my answer would change.

"Why?" He said, like he was the best thing since sliced bread.

I gave a smile. "I'll be traveling with my best friend when the program starts. I'm not going to just, leave him. Plus, if this person associates with you, i don't want to. You're a rude person seeing as you totally just butted into my conversation, took a seat without being offered, and didn't even listen to me when I was giving credit to my co leader and crew!" I told him, trying to keep calm.

"You're a smart girl, Ali James, I would take the offer if I were you." He warned.

Ryan scoffed. "She's not you, dude. She has other things she enjoys other than being a disrespectful person."

"Excuse me? Do you know who you're talking to?" Eric said, offended. "I can have all of you fired with a snap of my fingers."

Jordan laughed at this. "Fired?" He asked. "Dude, we don't even work here. We volunteered to help out. I don't even live in this state!" Jordan argued.

"I can still report you." Eric said.

"For what?" Jordan asked. "Telling some person who's being disrespectful to leave us alone? Dude, Ali isn't interested in your offer. She's more interested in hanging out with some friends and staying here. I suggest you leave all of us alone before I report you." Jordan smiled.

Eric was at a loss of words, and he looked me straight in the eye. "You'll regret this, Ali James." He stood up. "You'll regret this the minute something goes wrong."

"Have some holiday spirit, Eric!" I shouted once he walked a little ways away from us. "Merry Christmas!"

Ryan and Jordan smiled at me, and Ryan put up his hand for a high five. "Now that, was awesome."
