Parker forced me to stay out of the mall today, and I have no idea why. And as everyone else was still at the mall, I was hanging out with one girl. I was okay with that, though, she's real cool.
Jessie and I went to the other, smaller mall in town. She needed to find a Christmas present for Ryan and a few friends, and I agreed to go with her. I mean, it kept me out of the mall, and away from the hospital where they were doing tests on dad. So, that's good, right?
Jessie thought so. She really had no idea what to get for Ryan and did not want to go shopping in an unfamiliar place alone. So, as a way to make another friend, I agreed.
I had to admit, Jessie talked a lot. And as a quiet person, I was okay with that, I like to listen. We walked in and out of stores, picking up things for whatever reason. Some he claimed would go to friends, some to herself. She had not found anything for Ryan, and was losing hope.
"Well, since you're out of ideas, help me look for something for Parker?" I asked. "I have to get him an amazing present to thank him for what he got me." I smiled.
"Oh my god, what did he get you!?" Jessie was really excited for me.
"Plane tickets to New York for the day after Christmas." A small blush came across my cheeks.
"Aw! Did you kiss him as thanks?" She winked.
I jokingly punched her arm. "Would you get off that, please? We aren't dating." I rolled my eyes.
"Oh, but it annoys you, so I'll continue." She gave a cheesy smile.
"Whatever." I laughed. "So, can we get back to-"
"Hot topic!!" Jessie squealed as we walked past a store I had never been in.
"A whatta what?" I asked, confused at the dark store surrounded by a bunch of light stores. It seemed out of place.
"My favorite store in the whole world! I didn't know they had one here, oh my god can we go in?" Jessie was basically fangirling.
"Okay?" I laughed a bit as she grabbed my hand and pulled me in the store.
I noticed a lot of T-shirts. A ton with bands, some I've heard of, some I didn't even know existed. Jessie quickly walked over to a part of the store, and I just followed her like a lost puppy.
"My favorites." She pointed to a shirt.
"Black Veil Brides?" I asked.
She nodded. "If you think we're spending too much time in here, pull me out. I could live in this store." Jessie laughed.
------
"I might just have to buy concert tickets." Jessie groaned. "But no ones touring yet."
I laughed a bit. "I haven't come up with anything for Parker." I sighed. "Help."
"He's your boyfriend how am I suppose to know what to get him!" Jessie tried to keep in her laughing.
"Jessie! He is not my boyfriend!" I yelled at her.
"Who isn't your boyfriend?" Jordan took a seat next us.
"Parker." Jessie plastered a huge smile on her face.
I rolled my eyes, annoyed. "What are you doing here?"
"I needed a break. Everyone's going insane and Parker is freaking out." He laughed. "What are you guys doing?"
"We're looking for presents for Ryan and Parker and others." Jessie said.
"Wait, everyone's freaking? Why?" I asked, getting worried.
"Uh, a supervisor came in today to check up on how everything's going. We haven't gotten the results back yet." Jordan shrugged.
"Hey Jordannnnnnnnn?" Jessie dragged out.
"Yes?"
"Do you know what Ryan got me for Christmas?" She pleaded.
"I'm not telling you. Not in a million years." He smiled and turned to me. "Ali, what have you gotten for Parker?"
"I haven't gotten him anything, what do you think he'd like?" I asked, I was in desperate need for some help.
"Idea!" Jordan said.
"Tell me, dude!" I said.
And so he did. And that is exactly what I bought for Parker. This would be hilarious.
"So, uh, Jordan." Jessie smiled widely.
"What." Jordan said with no emotion.
"Why can't you tell me what Ryan got me?" She asked.
Jordan smiled. "Because." He booped her nose. "It's his secret to tell, and his surprise to give. Not mine." He smiled.
"Ugh! You're so annoying!" She said, trying to hide a smile.
"You love me." Jordan said.
"Not as much as Ali loves Parker." She winked.
"Would you stop!" I yelled at her.
"But you guys are so cute." Jordan awed.
"Jordan! Don't! Encourage! Her!" I yelled, laughing.
