Andrea

For the entire remainder of first period, Tyler and I hid away in the forest corner in the library. We wanted to go walk around on an adventure outside but it was freezing and we weren't gonna volunteer to go stand out in the freezing cold for an hour and 15 minutes.

Second period I ended up attending World Religions with Josh. He noticed my shaken expression but knew not to ask so he just rubbed my shoulder and gave me an assuring side hug. He smiled and told me "Whatever problem has occurred, it will solve itself with time." Which I'm pretty sure he got from a book but I smiled through my tears and thanked him anyways.

Lunch rolled around. I found Tyler, Josh and Ella and we all sat at one if the far corner tables like we usually would do. Not that nobody likes us or there weren't any other available ones just we liked the privacy. Not many people could hear our conversations when we're all the way back here.

Ella sat next to me and talked to me about what we did in bio that I missed and asked me if she had to cut a bitch for me. I laughed at her remark and assured her it was alright. I was glad to have her as a friend. Screw Emily.

"I'll probably tell you what happened later." I told her because I knew if I tried now, I'd cry. That also means I would have to tell about my mother which I wasn't mentally prepared for.

3rd period is when I have math. I don't really know any of there so the class seemed to go by slower than my other classes. Well English too but I actually enjoy that class.

The entire school day people could tell something was up with me but they didn't try to ask. I liked that a lot because I hardly know them and it isn't really their business. I'm glad they just let me pass without being questioned rather than them questioning me and I start crying again. That would be embarrassing.

The end of the day rolled around. I was at my locker when all of a sudden, Tyler appeared by my side.

"Hey." I smile faintly at him.

"Wanna come over?" He asks without a greeting.

"Sure." I shrug and wih that leave leave school.

We walk through the field and the path where the smokers huddle together to smoke a cigarette before they have to go home.

We walk to Tyler's house. It took a few minutes less than it would take to get to my house, as he lived closer to the school than I did.

We walked up his empty drive way. "Nobody is home, is that okay?" He asks suddenly as he unlocks the door.

"Why wouldn't it be?" I laugh, following him inside and remove my shoes.

"Just asking." He shrugs, shutting the door.

We go to the kitchen and decide to make a snack before doing whatever he had in mind. I usually let Tyler choose what we do cause I don't mind. We enjoy the same things anyways.

We make some hot pockets and bring then this bedroom

"I wanna show you something." He announces, reaching under his bed and pulling out a keyboard (portable piano).

I knew Tyler was into music and I knew he owned a keyboard and a Ukulele but when he started playing the piano out if no where I was beyong shocked.

I knew he was musically talented but honestly I'd consider him a musical genius. He started pressing his fingers down on the keys at a steady pace creating a beautiful sound.

He softly played, biting on his lip as w concentrated making him look all the more attractive. Once he played the final notes and stopped playing, I started clapping like crazy. He sighed in constent.

"You liked that?" He asked, clearly relieved.

"That's was beautiful Tyler." I smile. He smiled back and nods. Before placing his keyboard on his bed and grabbing a hot pocket. I munch on mine as well as he does. I haven't had these in ages.

After he finished, he started playing a different song. I wasn't sure of the name. It was beautiful and so relaxing to listen to. I used to play piano when I was younger but need really got extremely good. I quit after a summer.

We finished eating and he played more piano while I laid down on his extremely comfortable bed. I sprawled out like a star fish and shut my eyes listening to the keys emit from the keyboard.

"So are you okay?" He stops playing and turns to face me. "Wait are you sleeping?" He asks.

"I was relaxing." I laugh sitting up. My face becomes serious to answer his first question though. "And yeah. Amanda is a bitch I've come to know that. Emily is a bitch. Everyone is becoming a bitch." I say half joking half not. He nids and laughs.

"Except for you. You haven't wronged me yet."

"Yet? You think I will?" He asks. I simply shrug.

"I would never." He says jokingly putting a hand to his chest. "But seriously. I have no intention of doing that ever." He smiles. I reach over and engulf him in a huge hug. He hugs me back but ends up toppling back onto his bed. I fall will him and end up on his chest.

'Familiar, just like in my kitchen I think to myself.

I open my eyes to see his already looking at mine. I blush deeply and look away but he doesn't. He looks deeply at me, trying to figure me out and what the hell to do next. I'm confused as well, I usually go with the flow.

I was going to ask myself the question- do I really want to kiss Tyler? The answer was automatically yes yes yes. But then my mind thinks about all the outcomes that can occur from this decision.

I don't wanna mess us up. I don't want to mess up our friendship, I don't wanna screw anything up. That's my number one fear of it all.

And then I find myself leaning down so slowly, at practically a snail's pace. But then, his phone rings abruptly in his pocket causing myself to roll off him so he can answer.

This is the second time me and Tyler have been in this situation and I ask myself now many more times will that happen before we actually do end up kissing.
