:::Jessica’s boutique:::

“A precious friend huh....” Jessica uttered as stared blankly at the wedding plans of her next client while Sooyoung’s voice kept on echoing in her head.

This rare occurrence didn’t go unnoticed by Taeyeon and Tiffany who looked at their usually cheerful friend in concern.

“Did something happen?” Taeyeon whispered Tiffany as she pulled her towards the privacy of their cubicle.

The mushroom shook her head sadly, “She wouldn’t say anything. She said she’s fine but I saw her sighing sadly for no reason countless times.”

Knitting her eyebrows in confusion Taeyeon said, “Does it have something to do with Sooyoung? Maybe we could ask Yoona.”

“I wanted to but apparently she went to the countryside for a week-long vacation.” Tiffany said worriedly. “It’s so sudden, I can’t stand her looking so down...”

Taeyeon held Tiffany’s face and smiled at her gently, “Hey...It’s going to be fine. We’re going to find out the reason behind this okay? Don’t worry too much.”

Instantly feeling comfort in Taeyeon’s arms, Tiffany smiled a bit and pecked Taeyeon’s lips. “What would I do without you?”

“Apparently nothing, after today.” Taeyeon joked a little which earned her a soft smack from the mushroom.

“Come. Let’s invite her to eat out for lunch. Maybe that would cheer her up a bit.”

:::Sooyoung’s studio:::

“You deserve someone so much better than I am...” Sooyoung muttered as she stared at the picture taken when she was dancing with Jessica at one of the weddings they worked on.

“Maybe if you stare at her picture long enough, it’d answer back.” Sunny suddenly popped out of nowhere and looked over at Sooyoung’s shoulder.

“Yah! Midget! What’re you doing here all of a sudden?!” Sooyoung said partly surprised, partly relieved as she saw Sunny.

“Doing manual labor since my assistant’s too busy preparing the final touches of Jessica’s shoot next week.” Sunny whined as she gave Sooyoung a folder containing the various designs to be used in the shoot.

Noticing the shikshin’s silence at Jessica’s name, Sunny noted, “I heard that you found the perfect date for Jessica.”

“Huh? Oh yeah, her name’s Kwon Yuri. She’s coming home in about three weeks’ time.” Sooyoung replied with the least enthusiasm possible.

Biting her lip as she noticed that her blind date plan failed, Sunny decided to be blunt, “Are you sure about this?”

“What do you mean?”

“Setting Jessica up with Yuri.”

Laughing nervously, Sooyoung replied, “Of course I’m sure! They’re compatible with each other....Jessica deserves the best...”

Noting the pained look at her face, Sunny sighed, “Why can’t you be honest with yourself for once?”

“I AM being honest. I want her to be happy that’s why I’m giving it to her. It’s part of our deal.”

“I can’t believe you’re being so objective about love at a time like this.” Sunny rolled her eyes.

“I don’t even know how that feels like.” Sooyoung said feigning nonchalance.

Pulling the shikshin so that she’s eye to eye with her, Sunny said seriously, “Three weeks is a long time Sooyoungie, I suggest that you try to really discern how you really feel before it’s too late.”
