:::At the River Rafting Ride:::

Yuri sat awkwardly patting Jessica as the ice princess cried silently beside her. They were now aboard a raft about to venture into a simulated water ride as a result of trying to run away from Sooyoung. Unbeknownst the them, the said shikshin just got onto the raft near theirs with Sunny, Yoona and Taeyeon in tow.

“Maybe it was just a friendly kiss.” the black pearl said timidly as their raft slowly started to move.

“You saw the whole thing, did it look friendly?” Jessica countered, still sniffling.

Not knowing what or how to answer, Yuri kept silent, knowing that the ice princess is too upset to think of anything coherent much less listen to reason.

“But she ran after you...It might have meant something?”

“I’m done running after her.” Jessica said with finality. “Let her chase me for all I care...”

“Sooyoung has never been an expert on all of this and you know that.” Yuri tried to convince her but Jessica shook her head as she wiped her eyes, too tired to think anymore.

Suddenly turning towards the black pearl, Jessica made a request, “Yuri...Will you kiss me? For real this time?”

Shocked at her statement, Yuri shook her head violently “But what about Soo-”

“She doesn’t care.” Jessica shook her head vehemently, as if the mere mention of Sooyoung’s name slices through her heart.

“But you still love her...It wouldn’t be fair to you or her for that matter.”

“Please just do this as a favor.” Jessica looked at Yuri in plea. “I need to forget her kiss...”

Feeling bad for the ice princess, Yuri leaned in, though it was more of pity than anything else.

“YAH! KISS HER KWON YURI AND YOU’RE DEAD!” 

Sooyoung’s voice rang from the other raft beside them and Jessica was startled to see the shikshin standing up, swaying dangerously as the raft went with the simulated current.

“Sooyoung, SIT DOWN!” Taeyeon exclaimed trying to pull Sooyoung to her seat.

“No way am I gonna let her go this time!!” Sooyoung shouted oblivious to Taeyeon, Sunny and Yoona’s stupefied faces as they saw that they were about to reach the level 2 in a few seconds.

“Are you crazy?!” Sunny panicked as her hand missed Sooyoung’s shirt. “You could get into an accident! Get down!”

“JESSICA JUNG!” Sooyoung shouted ignoring the bunny as Jessica squinted her eyes as the water increasingly become stronger.

“Sit down! It’s dangerous!” Jessica shouted back worriedly.

“No way! I need to tell this to you now that I have the guts!”

“You might fall!” Jessica shouted, getting more frantic as she felt the waves around them getting more erratic the way their raft was moving right and left.

“I don’t care! I think I’m already falling for you!” Sooyoung shouted and Jessica’s heart stilled as she heard her words.

“Sooyoung, we’ve entered level 3! I think she heard you already! Now sit down!” Yoona shouted wiping her hair from her face that’s now wet with water.

“Did you hear me?! I said I think I’m falling for you!” Sooyoung repeated, unaware that her balance will fail her in a few seconds.

*THUD*
