Chapter 19

::At an amusement park::: (same one from Chapter 10 or 11 can’t remember haha)

“Enlighten me for a bit.” Yoona asked nonchalantly as she bit a chunk of cotton candy, rolling her tongue around its sweetness whilst taking a picture of a replica of Disney castle before turning to Sooyoung, “Why are we stalking a dating couple in an amusement park when we could be on a date ourselves.”

The pair was both wearing sunglasses with Sooyoung wearing a Pluto cap and Yoona preferring a mickey mouse one so as to conceal their identities. A couple of yards in front of them are an oblivious Yuri and Jessica on their first official “date” that caused the shikshin sleepless nights and loss of appetite. 

“Because we have to make sure that Yuri will treat her well.” Sooyoung replied acting all detached and yet Yoona can tell that the shikshin was a nervous wreck, noting her increasingly fidgety state and her intense gaze that were enough to bore holes into the dating couple.

“Hmm...Don’t you wanna make sure that Jessica won’t treat Yuri TOO well?” Sooyoung jumped at a sudden voice behind her and met Sunny’s mischievous face with Hara smirking beside her. Seohyun also tagged along, smiling at Yoona shyly to which the girl returned with a cheerful wave.

“Were you eavesdropping all this while?!?” Sooyoung asked incredulously.

“Eavesdropping would be an understatement.” Hara muttered 

“What do you-”

“She means that we were here on say, a mission!” Sunny exclaimed looking at Hara meaningfully and stepping on her toes for added measure.

“Yah...Are you about to do something outrageous again?!” Sooyoung asked suspiciously.

“I’m just....trying to speed things up along...” Sunny smiled sweetly before continuing, “...seeing as you’re too slow to actually keep things moving so to speak.”

“And what’s that supposed to mean?!” Sooyoung said defensively.

Yoona, Sunny, Hara and even Seohyun looked at each other and then to Sooyoung with mocking expressions before collectively shouting, “You’re SLOW!”

“Sooyoung?? Yoona?? Wow, you guys are here too!” Jessica and Yuri who inevitably heard them shout were now waiving enthusiastically.

The shikshin face-palmed herself as her companions voiced out their respective hellos.

“They weren’t suppose to see us.” Sooyoung muttered glaring at the four in annoyance.

“Whoops....I think they just did.” Hara quipped, seeing Sunny subtly motioning at her prompting her to link arms with Sooyoung. “Come on! You can be my date for today.”

Jessica looked sharply at the pair and narrowed her eyes. Smiling at Jessica, Hara turned to the rest, “So! Now that we know that we’re all apparently stalking each other! Let’s say we make this a group trip?”

“That would be a great idea!” Sunny exclaimed as she turned to Yuri, “You’ll get to know how wild these girls could be.”

“How wild exactly?” Yuri joked chuckling but was suddenly cut short as Jessica dragged her forcefully across the brick floor. “Y-y-yah...What’s up Jessica?”

“We’re here on a date are we?” Jessica pouted at Yuri making Sooyoung feel like gagging. “Let’s walk ahead of them shall we?”

Glancing at Sooyoung just to make sure that she’s looking at them, or in that instance, glaring at them, Jessica grabbed Yuri’s hand and leaned on her shoulder.
