Gala, being the new Element of Magic, no longer attended Celestia's school. She had to keep a vigil in case Discord attacked, which meant Gala and her friends had to stick together. She still kept in touch with Honey and Moonstone, though. They were her friends after all.

Discord, on the other hand, had left a severe mark in his wife and kids' s memories. When they returned home, Fluttershy locked herself in her cottage and refused to come out. Meadow and Ivy still came out to meet up with their friends, but were much more jumpy and scared then usual.

The element bearer's continued their parent's old job in protecting Equestria, waiting patiently for Discord's return....
