Chapter 23

Meadow sighed, finishing the last of her homework.

"Time to relax..." She murmured, fluttering upstairs sleepily. However, she was stopped when something tugged on her tail. It was her pet budgie, Butterfly. Her actual pet, to be exact.

The purple bird tweeted furiously, landing on her owner's head and pecking.

"Oh, you want food?" Meadow yawned. "I'm sorry, but I'm about to have a bath.."

Meadow was stuck. She could either feed her hungry pet or treat herself.

"Okay..." Meadow concluded. Her budgie wasn't as unfair as her mother's Angel Bunny. She might as well feed it before she goes to sleep.

After pouring her pet some seed, she trotted upstairs, eyes drooping from exhaustion. However, she and all the animals didn't notice the light shining from her heart: turquoise and shaped as a music note.

"Goodnight every animal. ." Meadow whispered, closing the bathroom door to get some well earned privacy...

Discord smirked, cotton candy in his
claw and choclate milk (no mug) in his paw. His eyes were darting across the note Fluttershy had sent him just a few hours ago.

Dear Discord,
I've told the girls and they approve! I'm so happy! Do you maybe want to move in? You'll be closer to the kids. I'm sure they'd be delighted.

Hugs, kisses and lots of love,
Fluttershy.

"Oh, that silly filly. She'll regret falling in love with me. And her friends will regret ever setting me free..."

And with that, the incarnate of chaos burnt the letter with a snap of his paw, laughing manically as a plan formed in his twisted mind.
