Gala rounded the corner to find Honey in her shared dorm, Moonstone sitting next to her.
"It's okay, Honey..." Gala started, seating herself next to her friend.

"No, it's not.." Honey mumbled. "Don't you see that, whatever I do, I'll always be a monster,?" As Honey said those words, her eyes flashed red and her fangs momentarily grew sharper. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she turned away from her friends.

Gala slowly wrapped her hooves around her distressed friend and gave her a hug, Moonstone soon following.

"Look you are not a monster." Gala said, pulling away and smiling weakly at her friend. "Besides, I've got much weirder friends in Ponyville."

"I don't think you can get any weirder than us." Honey smiled, cheering up and wiping her wet cheeks.

"Oh, but you can!" Gala cried enthusiastically. "I have a friend who's father is Discord!"

"Discord! Isn't he evil?" Moonstone asked. Obviously, her mother hadn't told her about his reformation, which was rather strange.

"Oh no. You see, my friend's mother, the element of kindness, reformed him on Princess Celestia's orders." Gala explained.

"But, how did they get kids?" Honey asked, a look of confusion etched on her face.

"You see, after he was reformed, Discord somehow acquired a crush on a certain buttercream pegasus. Even weirder, she was in love with him too! However, she kept her love a secret. In fact, the other elements still don't know. Only me and my friends know." Gala finished her speech with a difiant look on her face

"Woah.." Moonstone uttered. Honey looked at her, confused.

"How did they not realise Discord was the father if her lived with them?" She queried.

"Oh. Well, when Meadow, my friend, was born, Discord created a puppet of a stallion pegasus. He didn't live with Fluttershy during that time anyway, so it was hidden. His own children didn't know he was their father until a few weeks ago. They called him Uncle Discord whenever he visited to check on them." Gala concluded, ruffling her wings, pleased with herself.

"Wow." Honey gasped, "Now that was weird.

The laughter of three teenage mares echoed around the school that lunch, giggling off all the doubt and fear.
