It's been a month since the day I told Michael to get out of my house. We haven't spoken since, which is a good thing. It's as if nothing ever happened. I've become much closer to Ashton, which I'm really happy about. The first time he met my mum, she was convinced he as my boyfriend which made us both go really red. But we reassured her we were just best friends, although I still think she thinks we're going out. It's the last week in school before Halloween. I was trying to find an outfit for school, which I was having great difficulty with. I decided to ring Julia.
''What's up chicken wang?'' I laughed at her choice of words.
''I need your help. I can't decided what to wear. Should I wear my green day shirt with my black ripped jeans because then I can wear my docs. But if I wear black shorts, my docs won't go with that. But my black converse would..which one? Jeans or shorts? I'm going towards shorts since we're in Australia.'' I rambled on to my best friend.
''Shorts. Wear your docs, they would go. Trust me.'' I took her word and put on the clothes, while blasting What The Hell by Avril Lavigne. Once I was dressed I grabbed my bag, heading downstairs. My mum was already sitting at the table, weird. I never even heard her get up. Well I was playing my music really loudly.
''Morning mum,'' I didn't get a response. I looked at her and she was reading the newspaper.
''Oh, sorry. Morning dear, you ready for school?'' I nodded, then realised she wasn't looking at me.
''Yeah.''
Soon enough, Julia pulled up in front of the house. I kissed my mum's cheek, yelling goodbye. We made the way to school, and made our way inside.

Julia and I were in Biology and then I remembered Michael was in this class, and he sat behind me. I wasn't as worried as I would've been before because he seemed to stop the taunting. I don't see why today would be any different, so Julia and I took our seats, getting our books out. Our teacher wasn't here yet so we just started talking to our friends. I was talking to Julia about something when I felt something hit me on my head. I turned round, trying to find who threw whatever it was at me. Then I seen Michael smirking at me.
''What the hell do you want Michael?'' I snapped at him.
''Nothing, just felt like doing that. Not a problem is it?''
''Dick.'' I muttered, as I turned round.
''I heard that!'' His friend, Chris, spoke. Chris was in my english class. I turned round to face him.
''Who even asked you, Chris?'' I spat at him. I was fed up with Michael and his little friends.
''Who said it was okay to call Michael a dick for doing nothing wrong?'' He sassed. Well someone is feeling sassy today. Normally he doesn't really speak.
''I did, and it's not up to you to say what I can and can't say or call Michael. You clearly no nothing, so if I were you I would shut the fuck up.'' Bad timing, because the class had all quietened down while I was still talking and our teacher walked in and clearly heard me.
''Ms Edwards! Detention!' He yelled at me, as I sighed, slumping in my chair as Julia patted my back trying to get me to calm down. I should've knew Chris actually spoke up for once for a reason.
The class went on, and then the bell rang. Everyone gathered up their things, but I was told to sit back down. Julia looked at me with sympathetic eyes, while Michael and Chris just smirked at me, as if to say I deserved this one. I knew I was going to have another fight with Michael if this is the way he's going.
