chapter 17: How did we End Up Here?

We were all relaxed in the car, our favourite music playing in the background as we all had our own separate conversations. I turned to Ashton as he spoke to me.

"Blaze, what's your favourite song?" This was probably the hardest question I've ever been asked in my life.

"Why do you always come up with the hard questions Ash?" I laughed, as everyone else kept singing along to the radio, not paying attention to us.

"I think I would have to say.. Don't Wish by Tonight Alive."

"And why is that?"

"It's about not being someone's second choice. If someone leaves you for someone better, or who they think is better, you have to tell yourself you aren't their second best. My favourite line is 'I won't be the one you call when everyone is gone and when you treat her wrong, don't wish that she was me.' It's an amazing song." I finished my rant and looked over at Ashton who was sheepishly grinning at me.

"What?" I smiled back at him.

"Nothing, i just love to hear you talk about things you love." I knew instantly I started blushing so I looked away, seeing Michael looking over at me with an unreadable expression on his face. Then he turned back round to talk to Calum. Finally we arrived at.. The beach?

"Michael why are we at the beach if we don't have our stuff?" Julia asked.

"I told Calum to grab everyone's swim stuff just in case and well we ended up here." We all climbed out of the car, getting our stuff. Julia and I ran off the the beach huts to change in to our bikinis. Calum picked my favourite one, the bright turquoise bikini with white stripes on the top. I walked out of the beach hut right when Julia did also.

"Ooh girl! You look fierce!" I squealed once we seen each other.

"I need to tell you something.." Her face was all seriousness.

"What is it.." I felt nervous.

"My name isn't Julia Pierce.. It's Julia Fierce girl!" We both burst into laughter as we walked over to the boys who had found a good spot. We lay down on the towels as the boys ran off to the water. The sun blazed down on our bodies, so I would be getting a tan.

"Julia, put on music." I spoke as I slipped on my sunglasses and put my phone in my bag to keep it from overheating.

"What song?"

"Uh.. Put on some Blink." She put on shuffle and of course their very famous I Miss You came on. After about half an hour the boys came back, with wet hair.

"No don't get your wet hair on me its cold!" I squealed at Ashton who shook his hair over me.

"You would really know that if you went down to the water," he laughed at me making me pout and fold my arms over my chest.

"Aw cmon Blaze, don't be like that!" He whined, wrapping his arms round my waist lifting me up.

"Ashton! Put me down!" I squealed from surprise. I knew exactly what he was doing, he was leading me down to the water.

"Julia!! Help me!" I laid my head back screaming to my best friend.

"No way kiddo! You got yourself in that one!"
