Heading Back...New comers...

   I suddenly was awoken by our fire alarm blasting and I got up quickly and ran down the stairs to make sure everyone was ok..they were .. mom was fanning the smoke away from the fire alarm and dad was putting the pan which was the cause of all this in the sink and I said while laughing "Well isn't this karma?"  Mom burst out laughing while saying  "He is right sweetie..maybe you shouldn't have made fun of his cooking" Dad mumbled "shut up.." I laughed and said "Well try not to burn the house down..and maybe leave the cooking to the pros" Dad glared at me and then started to chase me and Spartan was having his fun running along... Mom said while laughing "Stop it you two...your going to break something...and you are getting Spartan all riled up..take him outside or finish this chase outside..." I was laughing and said "He is just annoyed that I'm a better cook than him...he is afraid to admit it," Dad said "I am a better cook!! come here so I can hit you" I said "Abuse...I am calling the cops!" Mom was laughing and the phone began ringing so she settled down and answered it.. and she said "Drake it is for you" I had to stop and sidestepped my dad before he can slap me and took the phone...

I said, "Hello this is Drake?" The other line said "Hello Drake this is your captain speaking" I said, "Oh Captain Jenkins (Idk if I told you the captain's name and if I did...I forgot lol sorry) Is everything ok?" He said "Yes, I am just calling to let you know we need you back in Iraq on June 30th" I said "yes sir, I will be there sir" He hung up and I did the same and I said "I have to go back on June 30th" Today is June 1 so I have some time to hang out with my family before heading going back..but I have to leave on June 29 since I have to take 3 planes...or was it 2 who knows.. Mom said "Well we have to make your time here worth it" I laughed and agreed and she said "I will make you ..your favorite dinner tonight and your favorite breakfast tomorrow" I laughed and said "I'm not complaining" We all laughed and the phone rang again... this time I picked it up "Hello?" The other line said "Hey Drake it's me Xavier" I said "Oh hey what's up Xavier?" he said "Nothing much...what are you up too" I said "Just woke up...got the call man heading back out there June 30, got to leave a day early since ya know planes....anyways going to go get food at the diner" Xavier said "Wow that's early...are you ready?" I sighed and said, "I got to be haha.." He said "Yea that is very true! was wondering if you wanted to hang out today?" I said, "Yea dude, want me to come swing by and grab you?" He said "Yea, the be cool" I hung up and said that I was going to grab him and we are going to get food...but I brought Spartan for some company

I made it to his house and I saw him closing his front door and waved at him and Spartan was barking... I said "shush Spartan" he didn't listen....dogs...

He sat in the car and said "yo.. Heyy Spartan long time no see.." He petted Spartan and said, "You mind if we stop by to grab food..." He said "Nah I am hungry too"

We were in talking up a storm driving back and said "Are you sure your ok to go back" I said "I have to be ok...it is my job... I am fine so no need to ask this...you know what is weird" He said "Huh?" I said " us being friends" He was confused and I said, " Well your a Navy Seal and I'm a Marine...we usually never get along.." He laughed and said "That is very true...I told my family and they were shocked you even accepted me as a friend...but my brother is a Navy Seal too and said it is not as weird as you think..because Marines are in the same area as us...so there are a lot of Navy Seals that are buddies with Marines... but he was like if I was in the Army, that would be a weirder relationship" I nodded and agreed to that.. we made it to the diner and opened the window for Spartan and went inside to eat...

I got a cheeseburger and fries...yum and he got a wrap and I said "Wow so manly bruh" He laughed and said, "Shutup....wraps are good!" I shook my head and ate my food... I looked outside and saw Spartan... I started laughing and choking and Xavier was like "dude you ok?" I nodded and pointed at Spartan...He looked at Spartan and he began laughing... Spartan was sticking his head out and sticking out his tongue while watching people walk by...he looked like he wanted to be petted by them but no one wanted to pet him... aww poor thing ...
