I apparently have 3 weeks until boot camp. Mom was always making me do stuff with her she says that she wants to spend as much time as possible and I always keep telling her I have 3 weeks, but she says I know you have 3 weeks, but 3 weeks will pass by so quickly. I laughed...

Right about now we are playing on the Wii. It's funny seeing your mom play the Wii. My dad comes in and watches us, he records this on the new video camera he got. He has been videotaping me every single day. He is doing this so when I'm gone, mom can watch them over and over again till I'm home and he can make new ones. I groaned whenever I see him with it and I said: "Guys I will call you and video chat with you, you don't have to record me." They laughed but still recorded me. I told Kevin and Matt this and they laughed but did nothing to help me.

Today my dad is taking me out to help me shoot a gun. I know that I will be taught how to shoot in boot camp but it will help grow my relationship with my dad even more, plus he seems to be having fun!

I was excited and nervous at the same time. When we got there, I picked out a simple pistol and my dad picked out an mp4. It was a huge gun, he told me I will be able to shoot different guns in boot camp. 2 hours later we finished and were heading out to eat. When we got there I saw mom, Kevin, and Matt sitting down waiting for us to arrive. When we sat down we talked about random stuff and laughed. When I'm gone I am definitely going to miss my family. I had to go to the bathroom and while I was in there a guy that looked soo familiar walked in. I said, "Hey don't I know you from somewhere?" The guy laughed and said, "Yea you do remember me, Chris Nike, we versed each other in wrestling and you won." I said, "Oh man I'm sorry for not allowing your team to the finals, but don't worry it sucked no one came." Chris said "Well that even sucks more haha." and said, "I can't wait for next year when I beat your ass." I laughed and said, "Yeah that would be fun to do but I am sorry to let you down I won't be wrestling next year." Chris looked bummed and said, "Why?" I said, "I enlisted into the marines." Chris looked shocked and said, "Wow good luck man." I replied thanks, I was about to leave but I said: "Hey nice seeing you man, and sorry for not being able to make it next year." Chris said, "Yeah you too my brother, see you good luck."  I smiled and opened the door to leave until I heard him call my name "Drake, wait." I looked back and he said, "Keep your head up when you're there alright?" I nodded and waved and he returned it. I got back to my seat and no one asked me why I spent a long time in the bathroom, but whatever. After we finished we went home for the rest of the day... The rest of the week went into a blur, I mostly hung out with my mom and dad, and I went to a couple of parties with Kevin and Matt. They were a blast and sometimes I would go practice shooting, then I would go to the gym and lift, and I then finally go to the track and run.  That is what I have done during week 1, I have 2 more weeks til boot camp and I am becoming anxious whenever I think or speak about it.
