The Marine

Mission with Cap, the Army, and I Part 1

       We got dressed and got everything as fast as we could go, The Cap drove, he told me that this was going to be on the news. When I heard that I knew that it would bad. I hoped my family wasn't watching this but I knew they were.

     While we were walking to the room, I saw Phil.. he was out of the hospital... He saw me and was shocked that I was there and all dressed up to go into war. He got up to talk to me, but his friend told him not to, I just gave him a nod and he gave one back. 

    Then we got to the room and they explained what was going to happen, I can feel the cameras on me.... we all left at the same time, but the freakin cameraman was still on my ass... it was getting me annoyed... I looked around the room where Phil was...he was watching the news, and he looked at me again... I didn't give a nod I just waved but continued to walk...

   I got in a humvee and we traveled to the place where we had to set up camp... My captain hasn't said a word to me, I was growing impatient, I wanted to know what we were up too, but I know its not my place to ask. 

     We got to the area, and the freakin camera is still on me... I said "Cap, why the hell is this camera guy only filming me?" Cap starred at the camera and back to me he replied: "Because they wanted to film a marine at work." I stared at him and said, "What the fuck don't I have a say in being filmed or not?" 

    Captain was not pleased with my attitude and said "Don't you dare speak to me like that again, or I will give you discipline" I said "Yes sir" and saluted him and went to my camp...... One of the army guys just stared at me and I said: "What are you looking at?" He just looked away and I just grumbled... some guy yelled: "HEY MARINE YOU GOT A CALL!" I went to the phone and picked it up "Hello?" 

     The other line there was a male voice: "Hey man, do you know who it is?"  I, of course, replied, "uh I don't know man haha.." The man laughed and said, "Remember the plane ride?" I then said, "Oh man sorry, how are you doing Rick?"  

Rick: "I'm doing... I'm watching the news right now man.... and guess who I see?"

Me: "Let me guess.... me? haha"

R: "Yes... dude what the hell are you doing?"

Me: "The army needs help and my cap and I decided to help out..."

R:  "But man I heard that you were in the hospital?"

Me: "I was.. but I am ok now... no big deal man got to do what I am ordered too so I don't mind"

R: "Man you are one tough marine haha "

Me: "haha thanks, man...I got to go now someone has to tell me what the game plan is haha.... wait how the hell did you know the number?"

R: "haha I got my ways haha well bye man good luck!"

I said thanks and hung up... I have a feeling that good luck was exactly what I needed haha.

    The next morning we left around 8 O'clock sharp.... we were still walking and once we saw the town... Well we didn't see it fully we saw like the tops of it.... then out of nowhere shots had been fired, everyone got down, a man got shot and was being carried to safety. I was shooting at the area where the shooter was shooting at, finally one of my bullets finally hit him and he went down. My captain told me to go make sure he's gone... I raced there and checked his pulse he was gone, I gave them a thumbs up but I saw something and told them to stay and don't move..... Oh crap! Our lives got even better a freakin tank is on its way, I gave my captain signals about the tank..... We went into hiding and the tank came by and never stopped... I wonder where it is going.... we kept inching to the town but every step there is a guy shooting at us or a sniper or something in our way to slow us down to our main target,...

I feel the camera on me and I turned to tell the cameraman to get down.... while I did that I was shot in my arm... I fell on the ground and I turned around and shot the man who shot at me. He collapsed and I ran back to the army group...one guy got the bullet out and this other dude got stitches on it... Then I continued the journey to the town... We finally got to the town...

Another cliff hanger!! >:D im evil lol its not really a cliff hanger but whatever haha
