A chill day with my Family and my Accident

So basically to just sum up the end of the last chapter, was when I was sleeping in between Kev and Matt. Then my mom came into my room and said: "Boys I wish you could sleep like this all day, but it is time to wake up, I made pancakes and bacon for breakfast, but I got to go to work now so see you in a while, LOVE YOU!!!"

We all mumbled "Love you too." and I said, "I don't feel like getting up." Matt and Kev agreed. My dad then barged in and said "BOYS! get up we have an important business  to attend to today, which I won't say but Matt and Kevin know what is already." We didn't stir and my dad said: "GET UP NOW OR ELSE." We still didn't try to get up then all of a sudden my blanket was thrown to the ground and my pillows were too. I groaned and said, "What time is it anyway?" My dad said, "It is 10 in the morning." We all groaned at that, which caused my dad to chuckle on his way out of my room. I was the first one to get up, I got some clothes and brought them into the bathroom. Which is where I took my shower and brushed my teeth. When I finished Kevin was there waiting for the bathroom. I went downstairs and found dad drinking coffee and reading the newspaper. I sat down and I took 3 pancakes and a lot of bacon. I then began to eat. Later on, Kev came down then came Matt. 

When we all finished our breakfast, we went into the car and my dad began driving somewhere, I don't know where, he wouldn't tell me, which made me mad. I complained the whole ride there. I am pretty sure they were going to make me walk home but they just ignored me. When we got to this random house, that I have never been there before, but I just figured that the ride was not as long as I thought it would be. We rang the bell and out came Chris. I looked over at my dad confused, I know that's mean but I thought it would be different, yes I could go see Chris on my own, but why did my dad and 2 brothers have to come as well? We actually never did get out of the car, which rests my case that this wasn't the place where my father was taking us. Chris came into our car and said "Hey everyone!" we mumbled a hi and Matt said "Someone is way too happy in the morning." which made us all laugh. It took an hour to get to the place. We got out of the car and when I looked around I noticed it was a race car track. It is not a regular track because in this track you can actually drive the cars. We entered the building and signed our selves up. We went to the place where they keep the cars and I picked a blue car, which looked awesome!

I drove my car to the start and then came the rest of our gang and some strangers. I was waiting for the light to change green and when it did I sped away from the others. Racing cars is not practically easy to do, I always thought it was but it's not, well maybe it is easier on the streets but on a track, it's way harder then it looks likes. You know why, well let's just say I owe money to the people who own this place. I simply crashed the car, I was already loosing so it didn't matter that I wasn't racing with them. But the workers were running as fast as they could to me. I thought they were going to yell at me for crashing the car but they helped me out instead. I  realized my head was bleeding. I groaned and touched it. I looked around to see if the others were still racing and they were, except for Kevin. He saw the car and immediately drove his car to me and when he was close he got out and raced to me. He said, "Drake you alright?" I said, "Yeah my head just hurts, it is no big deal go back and finish the race." Kevin squatted down and was examing my injury and said: "no bro I'm here for you, we need to take you to the hospital to get this checked out alright?" I nodded and I felt sleepy. Kevin said 'I am going to tell the others that we are going ok, just stay here." I said, "Ok you go I will take a nap, while you're gone." Kevin said "DRAKE! don't you dare close your eyes got it!" I nodded and this guy comes up and says "Hey I will make sure he doesn't just go!" I said, "Hey man sorry for your car I don't have enough money to pay for it, but if I need to pay for the damage I should better hurry on it haha I enlisted in the marines and being deployed in 2 weeks." The man just stared at me and pulled out the phone and called the ambulance. Everyone who came here with me came running towards me. Matt was at my side within seconds and my dad next then came to Chris and finally Kevin. The man said, "Hey I called the ambulance they will be here any second." My dad said "Thank you." and the man said "Knowing he enlisted and being deployed soon we won't let you pay for any damages that have been caused." My dad nodded as he looked appreciative of the man and soon you hear the ambulance siren. Two paramedics were picking me up and placing me lightly in the truck. Kevin and Matt went into the car with me. 

I was now in the hospital room laying there staring at the white ceiling. Guys never go into the hospital everything is white, it is like a place where you go crazy in. Plus the food here sucks major buttholes. It's disgusting. but other than complaining I am doing fine and I am being allowed to leave in a week. Which means I have a week left with my family. Darn those race cars!! The nurse comes in every 3 hours to check on me, my brothers come in when they are not busy with work and my mom and dad do the same. Chris was nice enough to bring me stuff to do. After every practice or match, he would tell me all about it. I kind of showed him ways to take down some of the guys. Chris was the one who would always visit, he never left. I am surprised we weren't that good of friends and to tell you guys the truth I thought he hated me for beating him every year. I am glad he isn't. Sometimes he sleeps in the chair next to my bed, he is like my fourth brother. Right now I am alone and starring intently on the television, all of a sudden my cell rings. I pick it up and said, "Hey its Drake." The other person says "Rex what do I hear you're in the hospital?" I laugh it was Meat and said "Yo meat was good? and yes I am in the hospital because I got into a car crash in a course."  Meat said, "Will be able to deploy with us man?" I said, "Hell yeah brother I wouldn't miss deploying with my brothers any time soon." Meat laughed and said, "That's good my brother I feel like shit for not being able to go down to see you and by the way, I got bad news." I said, "Nah bro don't worry about I got enough people here to come to visit me." Which was a lie? But I continued and said "What's the bad news meat?" he sighed and said, "Remember how we never heard from sean?" I said "Yeah why haven't we?" he said, "I just heard he is being deployed to Afghanistan." I went silent but after a while, I said "Meat are you serious?" he said, "I am serious Rex I am not kidding." I said "How?" he said, "Well I called him the other day to see what was up and he told me the bad news and here is his number, 812-323-4568." (THIS IS NOT A REAL NUMBER SO DONT TRY IT, well you could but you won't get an answer hopefully hahaha!!) I said, "Thanks bro I will call you when I am out of the hospital and we can get the info about meeting up at the airport situation." He said, "Ok bro feel better brother." We hung up and I called his number and we talked for over 2 or 3 hours along time but I was getting tired so I said my bye.

I AM FINALLY OUT OF THE HOSPITAL!!!! I can't wait to eat real food and sleep in my own bed. I was smiling and excited that everyone who came to get me was laughing. I ignored them and just kept on waiting and watching for my house. I finally saw it and I smiled. I said, "I am finally home, wow is this  what it's going to feel like when I am home from my first tour or my break from it?" My dad just chuckled but said "Sure hope so son." When my mom stopped the car I got out and walked right into my own home, but I realized I missed seeing that car in our driveway and I was concerned. I walked into the living room and there sitting was MEAT and DASH!!!

I smiled and said, "What the hell are you guys doing here?" They laughed and said "Thanks for that welcoming." I rolled my eyes and gave them both our handshake and meat said: "Well we wanted to come down and check out how are brother is doing, remember our motto other than do or die, but Never Leave A Man Behind." I cracked a smile and said "Thanks guys but we have another week till we are deployed and where is Jackie boy and Elliott?" they said, "We had to leave early if we are riding to the airport together and they are coming they live farther away then we did to your house." I said, "Oh we are going to get our pack together!" I fist-pumped the air, which caused them to laugh, but then I realized we will be missing one, Sean. I frowned and said, "I am not trying to kill the mood but we will be missing one, Sean." That caused them to stop laughing and said: "Bro it will be ok he will call and everything." I smiled and I said, "This is the time you meet my family." I introduced them to everyone. we had dinner, watched a movie and went to sleep.

Jack and Elliot were finally here and we were all nervous but excited because it was Friday and tomorrow will be our last day here.
