Niall
Three days with thinking how much I screwed up with Louis was torture. I felt like a complete and utter twat for two reasons. 1) He was like my brother and I hated fighting with him - or any of the boys. 2) I was definitely in the wrong. I was the worst friend there is for ignoring him like that. But today I was going to make up for it. I was going to apologise and be the bigger person. I owed it to him.
I walked down the walkway where our bunks were located and stopped in front of Louis's bunk. He was sitting on the bottom with the curtain open on his laptop watching some ridiculous show about zombies. He always carried on about getting us to watch it but we never did. Which resorted in him watching it alone in his bed with his earphones.
Louis was watching so intensely he didn't even notice my presence. It didn't help his volume was up extremely loud, I could nearly hear the words of the characters talking. That would have to do damage to his ears. More than our concerts would do. I took a deep breath and cleared my throat loudly. Louis heard me and looked up at me, his blue eyes curiously examaining me. I bit my lip before speaking.
"Can we talk?" he looked back to his laptop and paused the show before removing his earphones. He gestured for me to join him in his bunk, I climbed in and sat cross legged in front of him. He just looked at me, waiting for me to speak, I didn't actually know how to start this conversation. It's not an easy thing to bring up. I didn't even know if he remembered that night. I didn't, not really anyway.
"Cat got your tongue?" he smiled. I laughed and rubbed the back of my neck, feeling extremely awkward.
"I wanted to apologise. For the other day" I began. "You weren't... How do I say... Well. And I didn't do anything. I guess I froze" Louis smiled. He didn't seem hurt anymore. Not like the day I tried to apologise. Maybe he just needed the space.
"It's fine Niall. It really is. I understand" I opened my mouth to reply, to continue to apologise because I didn't feel like he was taking it seriously. Like he didn't mean it. "Niall, if you say another apology I'll kick you out of my bunk" he smirked. I liked Louis's smirk, he always had a cheeky smirk on his face.
"Okay s-um. Okay" he laughed. It was good to be on good terms again. The fans were going crazy with all the possibilities for our odd behaviour. There were rumours that we were now together, but most of the fans made it a point that I was straight. They all believed Louis was gay with Harry, that was not true. Harry was straight as one could be. Louis, he's questionable. Though that night's events proved he may not be as straight as everyone thinks.
"What you thinking about?" he asked pulling me out of my thoughts about the sexuality of our band mates.
"Do you remember that night? You know, the one before we woke up together?" I spoke quietly so no one could hear us. Louis looked out of his bunk and down to the sitting area where Liam and Harry were sitting playing cards, arguing about the correct rules. Apparently there's more than one way to play Snap.
"No. I don't. I just remember drinking, a lot. And then stumbling down the hotel's hallway" Louis explained. "Do you? Remember anything that is?" I bit my lip. Should I tell him what I remember?
"Uh..." Louis gave me a questioning look. His head was tilted to the side as he tried to read the thoughts in my mind. "Yeah. Yeah, I remember. Some of it anyway" I had to tell him something. I couldn't be the only one to know.
"What happened?" he asked softly. He looked worried, like he knew the answer but didn't want to hear it allowed. I opened my mouth about to tell him what happened between us but I didn't get the chance. Harry called out to us to come and play a game that was more fun then snap but required more people.
