Louis
I stepped through the door of my old house. The one I grew up in. I smiled as I looked at the familiar scenery, the familiar smells. The familiar everything. I stood my suitcase up and breathed in. I felt like I was home. I was finally home and able to relax.
"I'm home" I called. A head of blonde hair poked out from the side. Bright eyes and a smile showed on her face as she cheered.
"Louis! You're home" Lottie ran up to me and wrapped her arms around me. She was nearly as tall as me and that made me feel sad, that I'm so short. "I've missed you so much"
"I've missed you too" I told her. Embracing my younger sister. I missed being the annoying older brother that would be protective. I would never be able to do that, and part of me wishes I could. "Where is everyone?"
"Out, they were doing last minute shopping for you" she smiled. "I am so glad you're back. How long are you staying?"
"As long as I can. I want to be here for the whole break, I might go back home for a while though" I told her. Her smile widened and she hugged me again. "Who's room am I in this time?" the house was big, yes, my mum had five kids before I left to go on my dream. Keeping in mind there was lots of sharing rooms. The twins and Lottie and Felicite had to share rooms throughout their lives. Lottie moved in to my room not long after I left and moved into my house with Harry, then the next lot of twins came and Lottie went back into one with Felicite.
"Well, the plan was the couch, but you may have to bunk with someone if it's longer"
"I'm sure we can manage" I smiled.
The door opened after that moment and multiple people began to walk in. "Lottie who's car is that? And- Louis?" Mum smiled widely and rushed over to me, leaving the bags of shopping on the ground.
"I've missed you so much" she kissed my cheeks, a lot and I tried to pry myself away from her. "How are you? You're okay? You look like you could use something to eat. Let me make you something" she walked off to grab her bags and I exchanged a look with Lottie before a laugh left our lips.
As I walked into the kitchen Felicite came in pushing a double pram with Doris and Ernest, followed by Daisy and Phoebe. Each sibling hugged me tightly, even the youngest of twins walked, yes walked, up to me. I wish I could have been here for that. Its always nice seeing the milestones of your family.
"What would you like sweetie" mum asked packing away the things she bought. "A sandwich?" I just nodded.
"How does it feel to be free for a month?" Felicite asked taking a bite out of a biscuit from a packet she just opened.
"Great. It feels great to be home and spend time with my family" I picked up Doris and sat her on my lap. "Look how big you've gotten" I am always worried they will never remember me and that they will be scared to come near me when I walked into the house. But they always came up to me and I took that as a good thing.
My mum continued to make me a sandwich, cold meat and salad, and I made faces and silly noises at Doris. She giggled and leaned into me, hugging me with her small arms.
My snack got passed to me and I ate it with the baby on my lap. Holding her made me want one of my own. I wanted a baby but I couldn't, not yet not while the band is still doing well, and the fact I realised I'm gay. I still wonder if I do like girls still. It felt amazing with the girl I slept with over a month ago, but it didn't feel as good as what I remember it feeling.
"How's the boys?" Mum asked while putting the stuff she used for my sandwich away.
"Good. All just relaxing as far as I know" I talked through the food in my mouth.
