Louis
It was the American leg of the tour. More concerts, more interviews, more time to explore. Since summer was nearing and warming up, it was getting hotter, especially than what I'm used to back home. So most my free time was inside my house or in the pool. With Niall of course.
Niall was getting a nice tan from being in the sun often, just like myself. Though I was already one to get a decent tan in the sun. But Niall was soaking up the heat and looking amazingly good.
It was our concert in Chicago and I was really excited. It was so exhilarating being on stage for thousands of people singing my heart out, doing what I loved most. It was just incredible.
Our concerts were always so upbeat and loud and full of action, always bantering and mimicking each other. It was surprising we actually got any singing done at all. Not that it mattered, we literally could just talk about nothing and do stupid stuff and our fans would come and watch us. That's how dedicated they are.
As the concert died down and we all headed back to the hotel, I couldn't stop my eyes from closing. I was just so exhausted and I didn't understand why. It's not like I'm staying up late or having too much activities going on. But I just felt extremely tired.
"You know, they want us to go record again in a few months" Liam noted. My eyes opened and I looked up at them tiredly. Niall just wrapped his arm around my body.
"Mmm" I hummed, my eyes closing again, but ears still able to pick up the sounds around me. A pair of lips pressed on to my cheek and I opened my eyes once again.
"Don't sleep just yet, Love"
Harry and Liam spoke about the songs they wrote that they would like to share and put on to the album in hopes they'll be great songs to release as a single. I would love to put my input in, but my brain felt too slow to keep up with the conversation.
"Lou" a hand nudged me awake. "Baby, we're at the hotel" I lightly groaned my body felt too heavy to even move.
With much struggle, I managed to pull myself out of the car and walk with dragged feet into the back entrance of the hotel. I was pulled along by Niall into the elevator, and down to our room. I was glad we could get a room with two beds and just use one. I hated having to hide sleeping next to him.
We entered the room and closed the door behind us, before I could make another movement I was picked up in Niall's arms - bridal style - and carried off to one of the two rooms in the hotel.
"Couldn't have done that earlier?" I mumbled into his neck.
"Didn't want to draw attention to ourselves did ya?" I hummed, the words not really sinking in.
I barely even recognised the feeling of being laid down on the mattress until Niall's arms were no longer around me. I felt cold and vulnerable. I whined a little with my eyes closed, attempting to lift my dead weight arms. I heard Niall's chuckle. It was cute and nothing like his laugh everyone loves, but it was still a beautiful sound.
"I'm here, don't worry" he assured me. I felt a body lean over mine, lips brush over mine. I pushed mine out, wanting to feel his on my own, and I did, for no more than a second before I was left cold and alone again. "I'm just getting you some clothes"
"Mmmk" Niall chuckled again. I heard the zippers being moved along it's threading before Niall returned to me. He climbed on to the bed sitting on my lap. "Ni..."
"I'm changing you, come here" I was pulled up, my head lolling forward. "Arms up" my arms went up weakly.
Niall quickly removed my white muscle tee and replaced it with a tee shirt that felt extremely big. He leaned forward and pecked my lips again. My brain registered it a moment too late and I chased after his lips. He guided me back down until my head hit the pillow - which I didn't even realise I was on earlier.
