Zoe's POV

Leaving my class room at the end of the day I have a weird feeling in my stomach that something is wrong, and almost forgot Zayn and I have agreed to spend the day together until I see him standing by my locker.

Halfway deciding to confront Zayn with what Jai said earlier, I change my mind since Harry is standing next to Zayn, rummaging through his own locker.

Zayn looks up from his phone with a smile when he sees me walking towards him, and instead of getting that sting of something else. Nervousness?

He still looks so good with his new hair though. He always does.

He kisses me and I allow myself to melt into it, but end the kiss when I hear the sound of Harry's locker closing.

- "Should we get going?" I ask quietly and Zayn nods, still looking lustfully down at my mouth. I give Harry a quick smile and he gives a little wave as he heads in the opposite direction from where we are going.

- "Yeah, my place?" Zayn takes my hand.

- "Yeah okay," I say and he gives my hand a little squeeze before we head down the hallway.

I don't need anything inside my locker anyway.

**

We only make it around the corner before we almost bump into Zayn's 3 friends who are walking out of class together, all scowls and then smirks when they see us, like some wolf pack or something.

I guess Zayn was in the same classroom so he must have hurried to my locker so he would be sure to catch me. Cute.

- "Hey man," the blonde one I don't like, Jason, says to Zayn with a sly smile on his face. Not that Zayn has told me much about them, he really hasn't at all, I only sort of know their names. However whenever Zayn mentions Jason it's always in a negative tone.

And I don't know, he sort of gives me the creeps.

- "Hey," Zayn says quietly, not even making eye contact with his friends as we all just keeps walking towards the school exit. He clearly doesn't want to talk to them when he's with me - and he never has.

Maybe that's just a guys thing - you wanna have your girl alone. What do I know.

As we make it through the automatic doors, Jason turns towards Zayn before heading in the opposite direction with his two followers, Marc and Noel I think.

- "You just call me if you run out, yeah?"Jason says loudly before turning around, and I can feel Zayn shooting a glance at me before glaring at Jasons back.

Run out? Of what?

- "What was that about?" I ask, as Zayn grips my hand and keeps walking towards his car.

- "Hard to tell," he mutters, and once again I get that strange feeling that something is wrong.
"He's always joking around like that, just ignore him,"

He must have seen my face.

On the way home I'm literally lost to my own thoughts and doubts, knowing that I'm probably stressing myself out more than anything.

But I just have that nagging feeling that he's not being truthful with me, but I don't know how to break it to him. I don't want him to think I don't trust him.

When we get inside his apartment, I sort of get the vibe that he's in the mood, since we go directly into his room. He tries to make conversation, and I try too, but when he pulls me in for a kiss I don't feel like going further than that.

That would apparently be my way of telling him that there's something I need to talk to him about.
He must have noticed my lack of enthusiasm when he pulls away.

- "What's the matter with you. You're not- what's wrong" he looks me deep into my eyes, and his big puppy eyes literally look so honest, that even though I might be doubting him a little bit right now, I can't help but feel like I still do trust in him. "You didn't say three words in the car either,"
