Chapter 31
Amy's P.O.V.
A few days have passed since I got stuck in the TARDIS and found that ring in the Doctor's jacket... And I'm still with it. It seems so familiar... I just can't figure out why... It's like... I've forgot it... And not just the ring. It's like I've forgot something else... Something very important...
The Doctor: Vavoom! - he suddenly said breaking me from my thoughts and I hid the ring before he could see it.
Amy: Va what?
The Doctor: I can't believe I never thought of this before. - he said pressing the buttons and pulling the levers of the console - It's genius! Right. Landed. Come on.
Amy: Where are we?
Sophie: Planet One. Acording to him. I'm just not sure if he really brought us to Planet One. - she said smirking to the Doctor.
The Doctor: Of course I brought us to Planet One! Where would I bring you then?
Sophie: I don't know. But sometimes you say you're going to take us to a certain place and then we land on another place.
The Doctor: True... But today I really brought us to the right place. - he said and pecked her on the lips - Planet One is the oldest planet in the Universe. And there's a cliff of pure diamond and according to legend on the cliff there's writing. Letters fifty feet high. A message from the dawn of time. And no one knows what it says 'cause no one's ever translated it. Until today.
Amy: What happens today?
Sophie: Us. - she said with a smile - The TARDIS can translate everything.
The Doctor: Exactly. All we have to do is open the doors and read the very first words of recorded History. - he offered us his hands and both Sophie and I took them as he led us outside.
We walked outside to this so very old planet, Planet One, in front of a big, and I mean it of a BIG cliff. And there were the words. And they said... 'Hello sweetie'.
Sophie's P.O.V.
Last night... the Doctor asked me to marry him. I was so happy, I just couldn't believe it was actually happening! I didn't know what to say. And at the same time... I feel it's a bit too soon... So I told him that I needed to think. After all, we're talking about marriage! It's a big thing. I need to think if this is what I really want and if it is the right time or if we should wait a little. He didn't mind. And told me to think all the time I needed.
Forgetting that, we're now going to Planet One. IF the Doctor will actually take us there and not somewhere else, like usually.
And he actually took us... My little lessons must be helping... Ok, I'm joking. I'm not teaching him how to fly the TARDIS better. Though he needs some lessons... What matters now is that we're going to be the first to see what it is written in a cliff in Planet One. The Doctor says no one knows what it says because no one's ever translated it. But we have the TARDIS. She translates EVERYTHING. Or at least almost everything. So, we got out and looked to the writings in the cliff. It says... 'Hello sweetie.'
