Chapter 5~ Worse than before

As it reached midday we stopped to take a break. Looking out at the forest tangling branches which weaved in and out of each other, yet viciously sticking out like thorns in the broad daylight. Excited yet scared, warm yet cold and bold yet wimp. Opposites that thought could never be achieved. The girl sneezed, and Hikari stood back in fear and blessed her.
"Bless you! Ahhh are you okay?!? Soul still in tact?" Hikari said she looked as if she was trying to become apart of the tree she was hugging or clinging very tightly onto.
The girl nodded not showing any sign of emotion what-so-ever as her head tilted towards the ground once more,
"I'm fine thanks for the blessing though."
"Are you sure... That was pretty nasty!" Hikari said checking again.
"IM FINE!" The girl said much more aggressively this time.
Hikari rolled her eyes and grumbled,"I was just checking! You know the wise tale..." She leaned over to me and whispered,"rude much?"
I laughed at her remark, it was just so surprising! I nudged her, she knew why and grunted frowning so much I thought there might have been some editing in it. She laughed nervously and obviously hated the fact that SHE had to do this.
"Hey, since your travelling with us. We need to know more about you." Hikari snapped rudely at the girl. She was very fond of this stranger, I didn't know why maybe she was embarrassed about the whole sneezing event. Honestly I had no idea why she would be against such an innocent, sad soul.
The girl shook her head, " You needn't know more about me, I just travel around with you..." I thought this was quite a plausible statement but Hikari looked offended.
"My Irene your a rude, obnoxious, insensitive, unkind, uncaring," the list went on for about a minute or two listing all the unkind adjectives that she could think of," and unreasonable person I have ever met! My Irene you wouldn't even tell us your name! That's not fair, we let You in with open arms so you wouldn't be alone! Geez your rude!" Hikari finished (finally) after two minutes of rambling on about absolutely nothing... I was disappointed, I looked up to see the strangers face expecting it to be an offended or taken aback yet she had the same feeling less expression on her face. That's was weird, usually you have some expression of joy, anger, sadness, fear or disgust, (get the reference?)on your face, but she was different... Too different...
We got up and continued the walk to Brightport it was very gradual and LOOOONG. We reached an open clearing and stopped. Someone had camped there recently so we decided to be the next people to camp there. The ashes in the fire were still warm and they glowed just as the sunset was doing just at that time. Hikari looked angry and sad at the same time, desperate, last time I saw her like this was... In the cell. I looked at her concerningly as if saying,' Are you okay?' She saw and nodded slightly not showing much expression on her face. This wasn't normal for Hikari, at least for as long as I had known her. But we just clicked, I could understand she didn't feel good.
Out of the corner of my eye I saw the girl pondering backwards and forwards, then disappearing into her tent. I hoped that she hadn't done something to Hikari... I yawned and zipped open my tent and hopped in,
"Good night..." I whispered out to Hikari she watched the sun set off the horizon.
But she turned back and smiled after it finished, "thank you, goodnight..."
I turned and jumped in my tent writing down what happened so I could tell Aphmau and Garroth tonight. I was excited I missed Aphmau dearly, someone I didn't miss was Laurence, he had a shadow knight soul and it scared me a lot for someone so close to her being a shadow knight.
I curled up under the blanket we used last night shivering as I started to feel warmth again. My eyes fluttered shut only hearing the sound of the fire hissing and crackling and the final zip as Hikari hopped into her tent.

Irene Dimension-Auria
There I was back in my original home on a branch of a tree, I steadied my balance on the branch and sat down with my legs and head hanging over the branch. There they were Garroth and Aphmau,
"Hey! Garroth, Aphmau hey!" I shouted down to them, they stopped mid conversation and looked up both of them smiling sensibly.
"Don't fall!" Aphmau called up
"I might have to catch you otherwise!" Garroth cut in.
"I might like that!" I replied cheekily, hanging out a bit more.
I suddenly felt a knock of the back of my head and slipping off the branch.
It went black.

Irene Dimension- Aphmau
"Don't fall!" I called up hoping with my life Auria didn't fall.
"I might have to catch you otherwise!" Garroth said after me scarcastically, I laughed quietly at how stupid and playful he could be, almost as much as Laurence.
She hung out more over the branch, "I might like that!" Auria called down cheekily, a black figure was behind her getting their sword ready. I got ready to cry out that there was, but it was to late. The person whacked Auria causing her to slip. She was knocked out, or dead. The person held up Auria by the collar and cackled. I recognised the cackle from somewhere... It was a man. The man wore a mask that covered up half his face, with black hair soaking out of it. With one large black symbol on his cloak with I couldn't make out.
I turned to Garroth, fear raced through his eyes. Auria the poor girl, she was being held over the branch helplessly via her shirt collar.
The man spoke, he had a deep voice that was like Garroth's except more wispy, "Oh Aphmau you sure are in the deep end... But how I miss your face its full of fear once again. You to brother, you gave up on our fight. How could you? Oh by the way, I'll be taking this girl here." The bells started ringing once more, I was leaving. There was one thing Garroth and I whispered in unison as I went back.
"Zane, he's back... Except with more power than ever before."
I was clear, he was back.
