Chapter 12~The Decision

Aphmau seemed distracted as soon as we walked into the forest. Her eyes seemed to be clouded with worry.
"Everyone else is fleeing... I've even seen O'kahsis guards in commotion... That means this is really happening" Katelyn said, I couldn't believe it either, it was happening.
"How can O'kahsis fall this easily? Books on the place have mentioned that it is the great powerhouse in this region.." Travis asked looking at us all, but purposely dodging my glare.
"It is... Or rather it was. I haven't been there in 15 years so I can't say for sure I have no idea who's in charge now." Katelyn replied.
"Katelyn, I overheard that Lord Garte is in charge now if you wanted to know." Aphmau told Katelyn.
"Lord Garte... Heh that makes sense since Zane is gone now, the best option they could get." Katelyn said.
"Let's continue please this forest is only getting more and more confusing by the second." Hikari snapped.
"Fine," everyone chorused.
So we continued along in the forest. When Aphmau gasped and ran up ahead and hugged a man
"Is that Aaron?" Laurence whispered to us.
"I think so." Katelyn replied.
Aphmau randomly shouted to us that Aaron knew the way to a clear so follow him. We did just that turning thought the forest twisting and twining through hoping he actually did know. The aroma of the forest was beautiful and the aura. Oh my I could just squeal in delight! I did as my head turned looking at the giant trees. "These must've been grown by hand." I murmured to myself. It was stunning the trees standing there perfectly leaves gently waving aunt as if they were attempting to greet a friend.
"We're here" Aaron said as we walked into clearing smiling at Aphmau in particular.
"Wow... This is big" Aphmau said smiling particularly at Aaron. Ugh only she could smile at this like Laurence! I felt anger bristling inside of me. I just wanted to scream at her and turn her head to face her true love, LAURENCE. He loved her so much. We all walked into the open space Aaron in the lead then the rest of us trailing behind, except for Laurence and Aphmau. Laurence had pulled Aphmau back to talk to her. But when I turned my head I didn't sense love, I sensed hatred and anger, he blew it. I walked up to Aphmau and Laurence,
"Your jealous!" She screamed at him.
"Yes I am! I won't disagree." He replied
"Clam down," I stared at the fighting couple, "seriously!"
They stopped and looked at me, Laurence gave her an apologetic look and left. Aphmau sighed and turned her, rubbing her left arm embarrassed. "Sorry about that, he just got jealous and way to over protective, how will you ever understand..." She turned her head and ran off. 
"APHMAU!!" I went to chase after her, but was to exhausted to bother, anyway everyone else was doing it for me. So I decided to go sit beside a tree to think.
This has been quite an adventure, now I'm stuck in a forest with a bunch of people fleeing from the Tu'la region. Wow how life changes. How I missed the Irene dimension. The smell of  Irene wafting about with her kind fair spirit. I watched them walk back to the map and start looking at it as Aphmau spoke to a man who yelled.
"GREETINGS I AM CHAD G. AUGUSTINE AU 'LEOPOLD THE lll"
I just ignored him, he annoyed me this 'Chad G. Augustine Au 'Leopold the lll'  ugh. Maybe I should go back to Irene dimension... I mean I have literally no use here! You know what I'm going back! Now! they have a statue of Irene in Phoenix Drop I'm going back to The Irene Dimension yes! Finally!  I had an idea. I got up to tell Aphmau except I didn't know where she was. I had a quick glance around the camp and she was no where to be seen!
Hikari was looking about for someone too. I walked over to her and she gave me a quick look then continued turning, "Oh there you are Auria!" She looked at me and smiled, "Where have you been?"
"I was sitting under that tree over there." I pointed at a nearby tree that I'd been sitting under.
"Oh well I didn't look there..." She rubbed her arm embarrassed at her seeking skills. I shook my head in a silent giggle then realised I should probably tell her about my plan.
"Just thought while I'm talking to you, I'm going back to the Irene Dimension!" I smiled and clapped my hands excitedly. But she didn't seem as ecstatic as I was, she looked at me gaping and tears forming her hazel eyes.
"Your leaving! When!" She cried out her voice echoing around forest causing the others to look at us.
"Leaving where are you going?"
"Who's leaving?"
"When are they leaving!" We had a confused yells at aimed at us.
Laurence yelled at us, "Auria! Hikari! What is going on!"
"I'm going back to the Irene Dimension!" I told them.
"WHAT!!!" They screamed at me in chorus.
"Have you told Aphmau?" Katelyn asked us.
"I haven't seen her! I went to look for her but I couldn't find her!" I told them.
"Yeh I haven't seen her either!" Laurence said to us.
"that's weird neither have I." Vylad said looking at all of us.
Just then a little floating light flew through the trees behind it a man and behind a man a young woman. Awe all turn around and a bunch of yelling came out of know where screaming words that were very hard to understand.
"I'm fine, and the witch gave us this fairy to show us through the forest, she also gave me a remedy for the curse Michi placed on us." It was Aphmau's  voice that over through the yelling. I had to tell her.
Grabbing her arm I pulled her over to one side.
"Aphmau when we get to new Meteli I'm going back to Pheonix Drop to use the statue to get back to the Irene Dimension... I wish you well on your travels also Hikari must stay with you... I must go alone." I told her looking at the ground.
"Auria! You can't go back! I was hoping you might stay with us..." She grabbed my hand. "I just have a question before you go. Do you remember your family?"
"Only my brother, I was born in Meteli and my brother was only 1 whilst I was around 12..."
"Do you remember you brothers name? I'll tell him that your back"
Memories hit me like a wasp sting, flowing through me. My brother, his smile and laugh, my mothers pregnancy in the Irene Dimension watching this on child grow up! That's why he was my brother! His adopted parents who cared for him, his adopted sister who dyed his hair! I remembered!
"It's Laurence! Don't tell him though please!" I let it out so fast I forgot why. She looked at me shock running through the tiny gasp she let escape.
"L-l-l-Laurence? You mean that Laurence!" She pointed to Laurence who stood talking to Katelyn.I nodded. "HOW he's older than you!"
"Irene Dimesion time is slower, it used to be 1 year equalled 2 years until a normal mortal enters the dimension."
"How are you acting so normal around your brother!"
"I didn't remember about it until you asked, it's like you triggered a forbidden memory that I was controlled not to remember!" I said looking at her, "Thank you Aphmau... Really thanks so much!"
"Do you have to go back?" She asked me I nodded.
"I'm afraid I must..."
"Good luck then."
"Good luck to you finding Michi"
"Here" she hand me a bottle with a liquid inside, "it's the remedy for those cat ears." 
"Thank you and the group started walking again following the light to the edge of the forest. Laurence was my little brother, yet he was older than me in age here!

Cath and Shay made their way to the edge of the forest leaving the priests body on the path, their next victim was in new Meteli,she went by the name, Michi...
