Crap that old man's fast! I was chasing after a Chad that had run off ahead to see the city. It was just me and Hikari though the others hadn't noticed him slip off into the ruins of what I'm guessing was a city at one point. Once Hikari and I got to the bottom of the mountain we'd been gazing over the city.
"CHADD!!!"
"CHAAAAAD!"
He stopped and turned, I think I even saw a retarded Chad clap. "MISS AURIA, MISS HIKARI I DIDNT NOTICE YOU THERE! IM SO GLAD YOU CAUGHT UP THOUGH IT WOULD HAVE BEEN SO WRONG OF ME TO EXPLORE BY MYSELF LETS GOOOOO!!" And he began to speed off again. Hikari sighed from beside me and we began to chase after him. He was unusually fast for an old man, he was able to speed through the ruins investigating every bug and rock we came upon.
"Chad can we slow down a little?" Hikari complained, her breathing more shallow than mine.
"Yeh Chad seriously, slow down." I panted.
He turned around and gasped, "OH YOUR RIGHT IM NOT GIVING THIS ENOUGH INVESTIGATION, LETS BE A LITTLE SLOWER SO WE CAN INVESTIGATE MORE!!!" And he ran off to investigate a mossy cobblestone wall. Hikari and I began to do some investigating of ourselves.
"Auria, come here!" Hikari yelled summoning me over to where she was crouching. I walked over to see she was crouching over a rock.
"It's a rock" I told her frankly.
She turned her head and gave me a sarcastic glare, "Ha Ha very funny, I know it's a rock! Look at this" she picked up the Rock and shoved it in my face, "Someone has drawn their name in it!" I squinted and took the rock, have a good look at it. Sure enough there were letters 'H-A-N-N-A'.
"Hanna? That's interesting" I gave the rock back to Hikari, "Take it"
"MISS AURIA, MISS HIKARI LOOK AT THIS MOSS!" Chad yelled still crouching over his wall. We wandered over to him and squatted next to him.
"Okay Chad, what?" Hikari asked him.
"LOOK AT THE FINE GRASSINESS, THE SMOOTH TOUCH, THE EXTRAORDINARY TASTE" Hikari cringed as he licked the moss, "THIS IS A NEW DISCOVERY! I SHALL CALL THIS MOSS THE 'CHAD G AUGUSTINE AU'LEOPOLD THE THIRD MOSS'!"
"How about the 'Au'leopold Moss?'" Hikari suggested shaking her head.
"HMMM YOU MIGHT BE RIGHT! 'THE AU'LEOPOLD MOSS' LETS CONTINUE!" He bobbed up and we began to follow him around again.
"Chad!" I heard a yell.
"Auria!" Another voice echoed around the walls.
"Hikari!" The two yells sounded around the walls.
I went running around trying to find who was yelling for us, I turned and Chad yelled, "Miss Aphmau! Where are you?Oooo have you found out how to become invisible TEELLL ME HOOOWWW!!!"
Aphmau snickered, "Chad I'm not invisible. It's the walls echoing our voices."
"OHHHH THAT MAKES MORE SENSE!!!"
"Chad we need to find each other stay still and I'll come find you!" Aphmau replied.
"OH OKAY!!!" Chad didn't listen he began to run about, Hikari grabbed my arm and began to chase Chad.
She growled, "Chad she said stay still!"
I slapped her with a shut up slap. And she turned to give me a slight glare and turned back around to keep running.
"Miss Aphmau! Oo Miss Katelyn is here too!" Chad yelled around the corner.
"Chad! I told you to stay still!" Aphmau screamed as we turned around the corner, "At least we're together now... Oh Auria! Hikari! I'm so glad your with him!"
"YES YES WE'LL COME TO YOU!!" Chad yelled and ran toward her. And then disappeared, Aphmau ran forward and gasped.
"Chad! Are you okay?" She looked down into a hole. Damn he didn't disappear. I sighed and heard a stifled giggle from beside me, Hikari...
"YES YES IM FINEEE IT JUST SURPRISED ME!!" Chad replied looking up at us, "IM GOING TO EXPLORE DOWN HEREEE"
"Uhh is everything okay? Have you found Chad? Hikari or Auria?" Laurence appeared from behind Aphmau.
"Laurence! yes Chad just fell down a hole" Aphmau relplied, "Also, Hikari and Auria are over there." She nodded towards us and I smiled weakly.
He smiled at me, "Glad your safe sis" I stammered a thanks back to him and I stepped towards the hole nervously, I crawled onto my knees.
"Chad?"
"YESSSSSSS?" He replied.
"Are you sure your okay?"
"YES I'M FINE... WAIT... DID SOMEONE SAY TEMPLE?!? DONT GO EXPLORING WITHOUT ME" Chad cried out.
Aphmau sighed and gave Laurence an apologetic look, "Chad, I said it, we're going to explore the temple."
"WITHOUT MEEEEE!?! I HAVE TO FIND A WAY OUT OF HERE!!!" He began running around scrambling trying to find a way out of the hole.
"Chad stop! You'll be able to find a way to the temple, we'll just go on ahead. You'll have plenty of time to explore then!" Hikari was kneeling beside me as she called into the hole brushing back a strand of loose hair that had fallen from behind her ear.
He gasped, "YOU. ARE. RIGHT. I WILL CATCH UP I NEED TO EXPLORE ALONE FOR NOWWWW" And he ran off out of sight. We waited for a few moments silently.
"Now we need to get you two over to us so we can go." Katelyn said breaking the silence.
"Yes, let's not jump though." Aphmau said sternly.
"Why not?" Laurence asked, then pointed out that he could easily catch us if we jumped as far as we could.
"I'll go first" Hikari stated, I stood up and put my back against the cold stone of the wall. She backed up about 4 metres then raced forward, jumped separating her legs gracefully and landed on the other side taking a few steps before stopping. Now it's my go... I gulped and backed up as far as Hikari had then sprinted forward. My legs ached from the amount of chasing after Chad, my breath was shallow from fear and on top of all that, I might fall down a hole stuck with... Chad. I was reaching the end of my 4metres I felt time stop as my feet left the cobblestone. My arms were stretched out in front of me and my legs stretched apart. Make it! Make it! Come on! Make it! And my feet landed firm on the floor, then I tripped over my own feet, landing hands first on the ground.
"Are you okay!?!" Laurence squealed. I struggled to hold back a laugh, he squealed!
"Yes I'm fine Laur" I replied as I hopped up, He sighed and gave me a hand up.
"Let's go to the temple now!" Aphmau smiled and we began walking through the ruins to the temple.
It looked awfully familar... Like a building I'd seen before!
No... It couldn't be...
