"HELP SOMEONE!!" I screamed, the magical creatures creeping towards me. I screamed again still no one to help me. They were right at my feet staring up at me, crap... Their swords slashed across my legs in a Mexican wave motion. I slipped into unconsciousness, flashing then a picture of the tree in the Irene dimension appeared, still flashing, I saw a blurred picture of Garroth who looked pale leaning up against the tree. I woke up the eight creatures were on top of me slashing with their swords. I squirmed hoping they would get the memo and get off, they didn't, but I kept squirming.
I heard a 'HIYA' from a small distance away then a 'SING' from a slash of sword the creatures disappeared. I gasped and stood up to look at my savior.
"You okay Auria?" It was Hikari, she stood in front of me smiling and holding her shadow sword, her eyes were red and she was wearing her obsidian armour.
"Yup, thanks I though they were going kill me" I looked down at myself, my clothes were still luckily in tack but I did have heaps of red marks from where the creatures had hit me with their swords.
She smiled at me but her face turned to a frown as she said, "What were those creatures?"
"Mini demons, I think..." I replied.
"And why are you out in the forest?"
"Yip..."
She smirked, "Oh I see, lets go back now" She said waving her hand to follow her. I followed her closely behind her. Soon we walked out of the forest into broad daylight just beside a house and in front of us was the animal pen.
I looked around, no one was here in the village. "Where's everyone?" I asked Hikari facing her with an inquisitive look on my face. She stood there for a couple of seconds you could see her thinking and trying to remember where the people were.
"Well around 7 people came this morning... I think their names were, Brendan, Kiki, Leona who I think is Kiki's daughter, Emmalyn and Kenmur," EMMALYN AND KENMUR!!! EEEE THEY ARE HERE I felt myself shaking with excitement, "Oh and I nearly forgot Brendan's wife and Daughter, Issa and Dell. Isn't Dell a cute name? I think so." I nodded my heart racing excited to see Kenmur and Emmalyn again, basically ignoring what Hikari was now blabbing on about, probably how cute the name Leona was...
I was tempted to run off trying to find Emmalyn and Kenmur but I didn't want to be rude to Hikari so I just kept smiling and nodding at her. I stood there for about 15 minutes with her talking to me when she finally realised that she had something to do and waved goodbye. I sighed, freedom! I walked off towards Aphmau's home where Laurence stood inside with the door wide open. I walked up and tapped him on the shoulder mid-sentence. He jumped and turned, punching me in the face.
"Owwww" I whined glaring at him from behind my hand, "That hurt you know!"
"Don't scare people of you don't wanna be punched idiot! Anyway I was talking to Aphmau!" A few metres in front of him stood Aphmau. She was smiling at me, her hair sticking up everywhere. She looked drowsy and she had a red face with distinct tear markings on it.
"Fine I'll go then, maybe someone else cares about me!" I muttered though my hand and storming out slamming the door. Jerk... I kept wandering around the village, I wandered into the forest keeping track of which direction I was headed going and had gone. Wow the forest is lovely when your not lost without a guide and tiny demons aren't crawling up you legs! I looked around the tree branches were waving gently in the breeze letting in dappled sunlight. There was an occasional colourful bird that flew over head and leaves fell if the breeze picked up. The grass was a dark green but luscious and smooth. Sunlight was streaming in through the trees up ahead so I walked forward, there was probably a clearing or something. I walked into the sun and had to shield my eyes, sunlight overwhelmed me after being in the forest. In front of me stood Aaron he was on a picnic blanket with colourful building blocks and a bottle. Little Lilith was buried in a blanket on the blanket as well squealing with delight as the sun shone on her.
I stood there awkwardly, "Umm hi" I muttered looking at the ground, I bet my face was red with embarrassment.
"Hello Auria" Aaron replied, did he just remember my name? EEEEE oh my Irene.... What is going on I have never reacted this way before to him, keep your composure, stay calm...
"Sorry for intruding on your tea party" Oh Irene save me! I said in the most apologetic voice I had, it just went to a squeak though, which he apparently understood. Because he forgave me.
"Want to join the tea party then? I'm sure Lilith wouldn't mind another guest." He smiled at the little girl, I looked up and seated myself on the picnic rug. "So what's your life like?" he asked as soon as I sat down.
I paused, my life? Deep... "Umm well, I'm Laurence's sister, I left when I was around 12 years old to go the Irene dimension-" He cut me off.
"But isn't time slower?"
"Well yes, but until a normal human enters it is only around a year slower while now it would be a minute to a year because Garroth is trapped in there. Anyway I lived in a village with, Kenmur, Cadenza, Laurence and a bunch of other kids, called Meteli you've probably heard of it. So I lived in the Irene dimension for years in peace but the Shadow Knights got in and began murdering all of the Irene Guardians'. Let's just say it was chaos," I paused and felt my breath choking up, " So... Everyone either fled or died.... Soon a bunch of people entered the dimension. Aphmau, Garroth, Zane, Emmalyn, Kenmur, Laurence and everyone else who came showed up out of the blue. In fear I hid away from everyone but I saw the whole thing. Saw my brother nearly die at the hands of Garroth, Garroth risk his life for Aphmau, saw Aphmau obtain the relic.. They all left Garroth and Zane battled, It was scary! Then when Aphmau came in her dreams I attacked her and made it here and have been here ever since.... So that's been my life.... Care to tell me yours?"
He growled, "I can't..."
"Why-"
"I just can't...."
"But-" I started again
"I can't!" He yelled sending Lilith into tears. He glared at me, "Now look at what you've done!" He began comforting the little girl and I went back to the village anger rushing through my body.
