Chapter 9~ People Of The Phoenix

"He could do that to anyone!" I shouted anger flowing furiously through my body."WE NEED TO STOP HIM NOW!!!!!"
Alexis and Hikari looked at me shocked at me as if I were Zane himself.
"Ummm yes he probably could... But don't worry he won't!" Alexis encouragingly.
Hikari nodded.
"Look Phoenix Drop!" Alexis shouted pointing towards a wide stretch of land in the distance.
Hikari and I gasped we looked at each other beaming and squealed.
"Just remember your our prisoners, sorry Levin's orders." Alexis sighed and tied us up leading us gently off the docked ship.
The other person on the ship, a blonde haired man spoke, "Undo them Lexi I saw you talking earlier, their not our prisoners if you trust them!"
Alexis glowed and quickly undid us from the rope and stopped all of a sudden once she finished.
"Wait, when did you call me Lexi?"
The blonde man shrugged and laughed, "I dunno just felt like it!"
They both laughed.
Hikari and I walked off the ship with high spirits.
"Auria! Hikari! Wait!" Alexis was sprinting towards us "DO NOT LEAVE ME WITH KYLE!"
"Why you two were so cute together!" Hikari giggled
"Don't you mean kawaii?" A man with dark blue hair walked up to us, "Alexis introduce me I don't believe we've met." He said gesturing towards us.
" Good afternoon Dante," Alexis greeted him politely, " These are girls we found on the crazy cat island, this is Hikari in the neon purple and over here is Auria" she leaned close to him and loudly whispered. "She's from the Irene Dimension!" Dante didn't seem surprised he just nodded. He nearly was as unemotional as... As... That girl... I gasped when did we lose her? Before we came here? At that random cat island? I gasped, again, it was at that wolf tribe where I was going to be forced into marriage! Dante, Alexis and Hikari were staring at me with confusion.
"Hikari. When did we lose that girl?" I screamed at Hikari in short breath.
"Uh I dunno, also I don't care she was rude" she frowned
"Who is 'that girl?'" Dante questioned us.
Alexis gasped,"Dante! That's not your business!" Her yelling was like a squeak, she was quite playful.
"It's okay Alexis he deserves to know as well as you." I cut in, Hikari shot me a glare in which I completely ignored.
Alexis's eyes widened and Dante smiled, Hikari rolled her eyes and grunted.
"Alright it all began when we got out of the prison, um here..." I began, Alexis stepped back and gasped,
"You're both the escapee prisoners?"
I nodded.
Dante motioned for me to continue my story. So I did,
"Well after we had escaped..." I kept on telling the story with Hikari cutting in once or twice once I had finished I looked at Dante and Alexis.
"You seem petty cool" Dante said laughing, "You've had a rough life"
Alexis nodded hard smiling.
"Come and meet my wife Kawaii~chan and my son and daughter." Dante said motioning for us to follow. We did and Alexis did as well she was just happily skipping along behind us but obviously she realised she needed to go help Kyle dock so she shouted goodbye and waved as she went to go help him.
We walked along the track and past a ginormous tree and under a root when we entered the small village of Phoenix Drop. It was beautiful covered in flora and little fauna everywhere, the sea breeze swept through mixing which the flowers making a lovely scent that whipped your nose making you crave for more of this lovely scent. I sighed and closed my eyes. I never wanted to leave, ever. Suddenly a picture flew through my mind, crazy psychopath Zane smiling deviously holding us a knife that bled. I shuddered, no more of Zane please I want nothing to do with him. But that soon was no problem because at the door the was a cute cat girl standing at the door she shouted out to us,
"Dante~kun who are these lovely girls you brought here!"
"They're safe come introduce yourself Kawaii~chan"
Kawaii~chan squealed and ran up to us,
"Konnichi wa watashi no namae wa Kawaii~chan desu, Aimu mo meif~wa yo!"
"English please" Hikari asked
"Oh of course, hi, my name is Kawaii~chan , I'm also a meif~wa!" She replied. "Come on in!"
We all walked into her home laughing as we walked in to her home. Soon we stopped in front of their table and a little girl and boy sat at it. Both with blue hair one lighter one darker they were playing cards smiling and laughing like a brother sister rivalry.
"Dmitri! Nekoette!" Dante called them they got up from the table and came running to stand next to Kawaii~chan.
"Konnichiwa!" The little girl greeted us
"Hi" the boy said
"Hi I'm Hikari and this is Auria" Hikari said smiling at the two children.
"Well, I'm Dmitri and this is my half-sister Nekoette" The boy told us.
We all laughed and hugged. Dante looked in the direction of the dock.
"Umm I have to go...Auria and Hikari come please" Dante said walking out of the house and waving for us to follow.
We followed Dante out into the town backtracking to the docks where a silhouette of two people stood talking. A man and a woman. Dante turned to us and told us to stay while he walked towards the people. I squinted to see who the people were  but I could eat quite make it up. Dante came back smiling carrying some papers and he told us about a meeting at above it four o clock we nodded. We'd be there.

As four o clock rolled around and soon Hikari and I, with a bunch of ther people stood in a room. Soon a voice other threw the whispers of the very small crowd. It was Aphmau!
"Lord Levin, Zoey and Malachi have been kidnapped by a suspect whom I think is none other than... Michi!"
"This can't be happening" Laurence said shaking his head
"We have to go after them, I'm going to MURDER Michi for what she did to us!" A lady with long blue hair like Nekoettte's yelled.
"Katelyn," Laurence said, so her name was Katelyn, "I'm MORE worried about Malachi and Levin."
Aphmau started to tear up, "I just want them back"
Dante looked up from his papers, "Nahakra Village"
Everyone except Aphmau went silent.
"What?"
"Huh?" Laurence let a questioning sigh out.
"It's a village we recently did trade with... The village is perfect for those running from the law... Don't get me wrong the village itself isn't bad, it is the fact that there is a high respected bandit guild hidden in the mountains... It's the place where thieves and thugs go to do business." Dante explained
Aphmau looked surprised.
Katelyn spoke up, "Are you sure? You're taking a shot in the dark... We don't even know if this place is worth visiting."
Dante looked at Katelyn, "Look if your Michi person is a thief and a cheat, they'll know of her." He continued "I'll have Logan and myself prepare supplies for your mission"
"I'll prep the ship for take off" Katelyn said
"I'll help as well" A white haired man said.
"That sounds great, uh before we all set out while I was in Brightport I met an old friend he's on an old ship that came here, he's coming with us." Aphmau quickly put in.
"Right lets get everything prepared NOW!" Dante told us.
"Right lets go!" Aphmau replied.
The meeting disbanded and Hikari and I set off for the ship. When we left the building it was night time. I saw Aphmau go to leave but walked back inside. I followed Hikari to the boat stunned that in a day we went from prisoners to helping retrieve the lord of Phoenix Drop. I laughed at the thought of going from bad to good in one day.
I was ready to help Aphmau in anyway possible maybe become her loyal guard.
