"Yup. This is the guy I'm looking for thanks... Laurence... Wow you've changed" A woman with orange hair spoke up, she had dark pink eyes and she wore a witch hat.
"She must be Lucinda Lord Hailey's master" I heard Isabel mutter. Lucinda! Hey that's who we came on the journey for.
"Uh hehe it's a long story, any what I want to know is what the heck happened!?!" Aphmau asked her voice shaken.
"This piece of scum trapped in the ice prison kidnapped this young lady from Pikoro a few months back." The red haired witch replied.
Aphmau looked in shock at Isabel, "Uh...uh Isabel..."
Isabel kept her head turned towards the ground and I felt my wings flutter anxiously. "H-he didn't kidnap me.." Lucinda gasped quieting the group to listen to what Isabel was going to say. "...I left with him... Because I loved him... But he changed and I couldn't leave"
Laurence spoke up his voice erupting like a volcano, "NO ONE! Should be able to tell you what you can and can't do. That's not love"
Lucinda gave her a sorrowful look, "Laurence is right, You do realise that your parents in Pikoro have been worried sick? I think there is more going on here than your willing to tell me, in any case I'm here to take you home."
Isabel continued looking at the ground, "What about him?"
Lucinda looked at the man, "He's fine, he's going to remain in the ice prison until I get home to teleport him. We're going to bring to justice for all the crimes he's done. Not just for 'kidnapping' you, but for all the murders and thefts he's committed." Lucinda looked at the man in cased in ice.
Aphmau looked shocked, "Isabel, if this is true you deserve better. Let Lucinda help you."
I needed to change back, I thought to myself. I crept behind the building hoping no one saw me. When Laurence came around the corner and I quickly hid behind a barrel managing to tucks my wings down to fit. He started talking to himself, I began to eavesdrop on him.
"How can I be so devilish when my sister is a beautiful angel? In front of her too... Aphmau. Will I ever control the shadow inside of me? I should've asked Vincent for help!" He murmured loudly to himself. I blushed at the fact he thought I was beautiful. It was nice to hear that from someone so close to me.
Footsteps sounded loser to the barrel. Had he seen me? Oh no! I began quickly trying to bundle up my dress more and tuck in my wings more.
CREEEAAKKK I sighed quietly he was just leaning on the barrel. I need to get out of here. After checking that he wasn't looking I quickly crawled across the snowy ground my hands freezing as I crawled along the icy ground. I ducked behind a building and stood up brushing the snow off my dress.
I heard a gasp from behind me, "A-a-Auria? Is that really you?" Travis asked me.
"Yes..." I replied not turning my head.
"You're an angel..." He whispered obviously shocked that I was an angel.
"And your what?" I asked him.
"Do you really want to know?" He asked me in reply. I nodded feeling the loose bun I had on the back of my head loosen and a few more strands fell out. He sighed, "I'm the son of a demon warlock"
"So from that island in the cursed sea..." I muttered to myself.
"How did yo--" he was cut off by Lucinda walking behind our building.
"Come on, let's go to Pikoro village"
He nodded and walked around the corner.
"Lucinda, I need to change back. So I'll be a minute" I told her. Lucinda walked off following Travis around the building. I began to change back. My hair fell out the bun and onto my shoulders, the wings fluttered then slowly faded and the dress did the same. Soon I was standing there in the warm clothing Hikari had given me.
As we entered Pikoro village, The group split up walking off in our own directions. I was with Travis, he looked uncomfortable.
"Are you okay? You look as if you see a ghost" I told him.
He looked at me, "This place has a weird sense about it. This snow feels unnatural..."
"I guess." Crunching my foot deep into the snow a few sparks of light bounced around the ground. "It's just snow though."
I heard a scream rise up through the trees, scattering birds across the sky.
"What was that?" I asked him.
He shook his head, "I don't know but let's go see!"
We ran through the trees and came across a clearing, Aphmau and Lucinda were half in cases in ice prisons. A woman and two shadow souls stood in behind her as she yelled.
"KILL THEM" Travis ran forward and knocked the shadow souls out of existence. His skin had gone grey and he was holding a blood infused sword.
"Travis!" Aphmau yelled.
"W-WHAT IS THIS?!?" The woman screamed.
"We'll look at you... Must feel pretty strong to take over a helpless woman and her child, huh?" Travis said teasingly to the possessed woman.
"BAWAHAHAHAHAHA A DEMON? NO... YOUR SPIRIT SCREAMS... A WARLOCK?... A HUMAN!? WHAT ARE YOU!?!?" The possessed woman screamed questionably at Travis. I stood back and laughed under my breath. The woman turned and face me,"AND WHO IS THIS!?! AN ANGEL?!? MY MY IVE NEVER SEEN ONE OF THOSE BEFORE"
Travis growled, "She's with me and if you touch her... Now your other question. I'm the one who's going to put you to rest."
"THAT CHEEKY VOICE... YOU WONT BE CALM FOR LONG! YOUR LIFE ENDS NOW!" She screamed at Travis.
A red light grew in Travis's hand. Knocking the woman out. Travis was holding a book up in his right hand.
"Travis you..." Aphmau began.
"Aphmau, I need you to lend me your strength." He told her.
"What are you going to do?" Aphmau asked him.
"I'm going to rid the land of the warlock who's inhabited it." He replied calmly.
"IMPOSSIBLE" Lucinda screamed, "NO ONE CAN DO THAT!!"
"...I can. My mother did it once to the demon warlock and I can do it again. I just can't do it alone in my current state," he replied smoothly to Lucinda's comment.
"T-the demon warlock... How--" Lucinda stammered.
"Trust me, I can do this. But Aphmau I need you to help me now." He replied.
"Okay... But, how" she asked.
"Here, I need you to touch this tomb" he said holding out the book.
"Your book?" She asked.
Travis laughed, "It's much more than just a book with a map. Trust me..."
She nodded, "I'll help however I can." She reached out to hold the book with both hands. I just hoped nothing bad would happen...
