Just before we begin, watch the episode first it should here some where so watch it before you read this chapter because I'm not explaining what happens and ruining Aphmau's representation of it. Honestly I don't think I could match her standards....
-----------
A large beam of light exploded just in front of me, only a couple metres out of the forest. Blown back by the impact I fell onto the ground. Dazed, I stood up and looked around dizzily. Soon I began taking small wobbly steps forward to regain glance then I ran out of the forest to see a very large hole in the ground. And on a ledge in front of it was a blonde knight staring out into the hole."Sir are you alright?" I asked him quickly. My body shook with excitement as the person who turned around was none other than Garroth. "Garroth! Oh your alive and back in our world!" I ran up to him shakily. But he didn't look glad to see me, he just stood there as if he was in pain staring at me and in his hands a piece of red cloth. "Garroth?"
Still looking at me emotion started to fill his gaze, "I'm sorry..." He murmured, "So sorry.." I picked up the cloth and looked at it. My feet fell under me as I gazed at the cloth. This was no ordinary piece of red cloth, it was a red bandana... The exact one Aaron... Aaron... Aaron... wore...
"How?" I asked him my eyes welling up, "Aphmau will be devastated..." I felt his arms wrap around me and I gazed up at him.
"I know... And it's my fault" Garroth murmured looking at me in the eyes. I squeezed his arm gently...
"No it's not..." I promised him, "Aphmau wanted to get you out no matter what. Aaron knew what he had to do some of us didn't though... I forgot to get you out when I had the chance, back then I could, but I can't now..." I looked down at the red bandana that was sprawled across the ground.
Rustling and yelling came from behind the bushes. "Shall I go?" I asked him gently knowing that he'd want some time alone with Aphmau he nodded. I picked up the bandana and looked at it with a sigh then ripped a small chunk off in a line so that no one would notice. The threw the rest down on the ground, it wasn't a neat rip but I would have to do. "Bye Garroth, see you around." I murmured clutching the piece of the piece of cloth, walked up to him and gave him a peck on the cheek then left with a small wave. Turning around giggling at the shade of pink he turned I left hearing Aphmau screaming. "Garroth!" In the distance. I knew I would be far enough away so I knelt and wept over Aaron's death. I knew everything was coming to a close.
I will miss you Aaron, your selflessness is a worthy achievement. But I'm sorrowful that I left you with an angry yell and storming into the forest. Remembering the conversation I'd had with him made me cry even more, tears fell and fell down my cheeks and I let out many sobs and quiet cries. Until I heard something that made me stop, a very loud wail.
Aphmau, I'm sorry...
