Chapter 15~ An Old Friend

"Thank you so much, Donna" Laurence replied smiling, "I'm sure my sister, Auria, would appreciate that."
She clapped excitedly, "Yay! Follow me dear!" I rolled my eyes at Laurence, he was taking this sibling thing to far. To far. He gave me a quick sarcastic look as I followed Donna. Donna took me to a house by the seaside where a child was playing by chasing a wolf. I gasped silently and sped up to Donna and pointed at the child.
"Umm is that safe?" I asked her quickly.
"What? My children playing together? I'm so proud of him, he got his werewolf form a few days ago!" She exclaimed. Oh those were her sons. The wolf was a child, Donna's child.
"What are there names?" I asked her.
"Lello and Rollo, and my baby girl whom is having a nap and also have Yip... Even though he's adopted I love him" she smiled, she looked tired and worn out. She beckoned for me to follow and I did, I was still stinging and the blood all over my body had dried into a very uncomfortable state.
We walked into her sea side home and she took me upstairs. The stairs creaked every time you stood on them and they let a few splinters of wood fall, it didn't scare me though. I kept going up the stairs into a hall, she opened the door to the bathroom and started to run a bath.
"I'll run you a bath," Donna said smiling,"Then see my dress and take it, I'm sure Cadenza will make a dress for you, get in the bath dear" she turned the water off and I watched her leave. I undressed and got into the bath. The water began to turn red as I slunk into the tub. Soon I was engrossed in red liquid up to my high chest. I hated sitting in blood red liquid so I got up and out, drying myself with a towel that Donna had gotten me. I sighed, at least I wasn't covered in dry blood anymore.
Knock knock
My eyes scooted around for clothing, but Donna had taken my clothes and all I had was the towel which I quickly brought up around my high chest and made sure it went to my thighs. I could here muttering from outside and the door swung opened nearly whacking me in the head. In front of me stood a young man, he had jade green eyes and black hair that fell around the collar of a suit, he looked like royalty, He reminded me of Fenir the wolf prince.
"Oh sorry." The man said pulling at his collar a bit, "I'll go if you want me too"
"No don't worry about it" I smiled at him.
"Oh okay then" he walked up to the basin and began to wash his hands. I turned around I felt awkward, he was watching me through the mirror. "What's your name?"
"Me?" I asked myself spinning to face him, "I'm Auria, you?"
"I'm Yip, a werewolf, adopted into this crazy family."
"Nice too meet you"
He smirked at me and snorted, "Your towels slipping"
"Wha? Oh my Irene it is!" I bundled the towel up and squatted so he couldn't see anything else.
"Excited for Emmalyn and Kenmur's wedding this afternoon?" He asked me still smirking.
"Yes thank you" I stopped, he was still smirking, "WHAT CAN YOU SEE!!??!!"
"Nothing, this is my smile" he replied sarcastically.
"Yes of course it is..." I replied with the same sarcastic voice and eye roll letting myself giggle a bit.
He turned the water of and shook his hands over the basin, he spun around to face me and shook them sending the water flying all over me and around the bathroom, landing on the walls and the floor some even reaching the roof. I glared at him. He laughed in reply to my glare. I nearly said gee thanks but didn't.
Footsteps were thumping up the stairs and I huddled into the towel making sure not to let it slip. Donna walked in the room carrying two beautiful dresses. She gave a turquoise on to me and she looked at me expecting me to hate it.
"I love it!" I squealed. I saw Yip slip out of the room through the corner of my eye. I did a silent laugh, what a boy.
"I'm so glad! We had it made quickly, I didn't have to suggest anything, Cadenza just squealed when I told her who it was for and she scrambled to make it." Donna laughed, "This is my beautiful dress, Cadenza is such a sweet heart." She held up her dress, it was lovely. "Oh I nearly forgot! Cadenza wanted you to go see Nekoette and here is the belt for the dress, Goodbye!" Donna walked out winking at me. I held up my dress and smiled. I had to go see her, I had to go see Cadenza.

I was in my dress and trying to find where Cadenza was, I think they said she was on a small hill in house that Emmalyn and Aphmau lived in. So I went on the hunt for a house on a small hill. There was a two story purple house up a hill but I doubt that Emmalyn lived there and it seemed empty, so I just kept walking. There was a small hill and saying there was one small hill was a big stretch, this was not like Meteli, there were so many hills! But soon a house came up and there was movement in it so I went to it and knocked on the door.
A familiar face opened the door.
"Which dress or tux did you order?" Cadenza stood looking at a small clipboard.
"I have my dress, Cadenza, its Auria!" I smiled at her pulling my dress up a little bit.
She looked up from her clipboard and squealed, "OH MY IRENE, IT CANT BE YOU!!!"
I curtsied a little, "Well it is"
"B-b-but you left to become an Irene Guardian! Get your butt in here and tell me everything!"  She opened the door and dragged me in with my arm. She sat down by her sewing machine and I went to sit on a lounge chair nearby. I told her my entire story, it took a while.
Cadenza glanced at her clock once I had finished.
"We're going to be late!"
"Where too?" I asked her.
"EMMALYN AND KENMURS WEDDING QUICK LETS GO!" She replied, jumping out of her chair and out the door. I followed her.
We arrived at the wedding and ran to our designated seats, not next to each other but we gave each other a quick hug before we did run to them. I sat next to Katelyn and an empty seat but it was nice anyway.
"Aphmau planned you a seat? Your becoming apart of our happy little family" she commented.
I nodded, the ceremony was beginning.
It went smoothly, with Chad being the creepy minister, they both I do and they kissed.
We went down to the plaza to have a little reception. Laurence and Aphmau were sitting at a table and Cadenza was talking to Kenmur. So I went to talk to Emmalyn who stood alone in her beautiful wedding dress.
"Congrats Emmalyn... Kenmur was a nice friend" I smiled at her.
"You knew Kenmur?" She asked, I nodded, in Meteli as the children who DIDNT know Kenmur? He was such a popular kid. "How did you know Kenmur?"
I snorted, "Emmalyn, every child in Meteli knew Kenmur, anyway I was in our little friend group, Kenmur, Cadenza and little Laurence, there were others, but we were the closest out of us all. I had a crush on Kenmur until I left."
"You left? Where too?" Emmalyn asked, she was curious. I couldn't blame her.
"I fell down a cliff and died," I joked.
"W-w-what! You died no wonder- wait that's not possible. You're playing with me!" Emmalyn punched me playfully scowling.
"Aww you got it" I snickered.
"Hey! So where did you actually go!" She tugged at her dress a bit positioning it comfortably.
"I became an Irene Guardian, and went to the Irene dimension to live there. I went when I was 12, Now I'm 17" I explained to her. "Laurence used to be my younger brother, now he's my elder brother"
"The Irene Dimension! You'll have to tell me everything!" She squealed, "Kenmur's calling me I'd better go, Thanks Auria" she walked off to talk to her husband.
Laurence and Aphmau were dancing, Hikari was too, with no one. I walked over to Hikari who just told me to dance, I had nothing else to do but dance. I looked around and began to dance like Hikari. I was nearly tripping over my dress every time I took a step anywhere.
But in side my heart I could tell Irene blessed this marriage more than others, the sun was setting on the horizon as Aphmau walked to the beach this was going to last a while.
