It's a Date

I wake up the next morning after the little argument I had with Calum to a text from him. 

From: ca$hmoney 

Hey, we still on for today? 

It was about 11 in the morning. The sun gently lighting up my room. It's the beginning of Winter in Australia which usually means all four seasons jammed into one day. 

To: ca$hmoney 

Yeah I'll pick you up in about an hour

Calum and I don't really fight, we just have arguments like last night for example but that was the first time it was over me meeting a guy. Usually it had something to do with me being late to a gig or him being a bit rude, but never over other people. Nevertheless I get ready for the day. 

I take a shower and throw on some comfortable clothes seeming how we would be walking the entire day. I'm still not a makeup girl because natural beauty is the best beauty in my opinion. I pack the usual bobby pins, hairties, wallet and phone in my shoulder bag and walk out of my room. *OUTFIT IN EXTERNAL*

"Daaaaad" I call to see if he was home. 

"Hey hun, sorry to leave you like this but I'm late for work and I need this job" Dad grabs his bag and keys, kisses my forehead and walks out the door. 

I laugh at him, before grabbing a muesli bar and walking out the door as well. 

"Have a good day at work Dad!" I shout as he pulls out of the drive way, he waves to me. 

Dad still is the crazy work-a-holic but now he actually overtook his boss' job and is assistant manager at the company he works at. Which is pretty cool if you ask me. Oh yeah and Max and Tori, they have the baby and his name is Tyler. The cutest little baby boy ever! It seems like everyone knows exactly what they're going to do with their lives except for me. I'm only in this whole engineering business to get my degree and make my family happy. What I'd really want to do is either get in the music business or the dance business, but for now university is the thing I want to finish. 

I pull out of the drive way and drive off to Calum's place blasting a bunch of McFly songs. I hop out of my car and knock on Calum's door. 

"Hey Mali" I greet Calum's sister as she opens the door. 

"Hi Dee!" She grins giving me a hug, "How've you been?" 

"I've been great how about you?" 

"Good, good, so don't forget about my performance on Monday night!" She reminds me. 

"Wouldn't miss it for the world" I smile. 

"Well you know where he is, I better get going, I have rehearsals" Mali leads me to the foot of the stair case, "Bye hun" She gives me a kiss on the cheek and I do the same. 

"Cya" I wave. 

I run up the stairs and lay on Calum's bed, waiting for him to get out of the shower. Mali and I have also stayed the same with out relationship. Just like the sister I've never had! She didn't really mind that Calum and I weren't together, we just remained the same. I lay on his bed scrolling through my twitter feed and then a text comes up. 

From: Nick

Hey Andie! What are you doing next Saturday?

I reply. 

To: Nick

Hey Nick :) Nothing so far. Have anything in mind ? 

A few seconds later I got a text. 

From: Nick 

Dinner and a movie? Or too cliche for you?

To: Nick 

Nothing is ever too cliche for me Nick ;) Next Saturday sounds great

From: Nick 

Great! I'll pick you up at say 7? 

To: Nick

It's a date! I'll talk to you later x 

And just like that I was going on a date with a guy I met yesterday. 

"BOO!" Calum shouts, causing me to jump. 

"OH MY G- CALUM!" I throw a pillow at him, which he catches. 

"Nice throw" He compliments me. 

Calum just had his towel wrapped around his waist. If I had a dollar every time I've seen this boy shirtless I'd be a billionaire by now.

"You're lucky I didn't aim for your manly part or bad things would've happened" I warn him. 

"Feisty child" He claws, which I laugh at. 

Calum goes to his closet to figure out what to wear. He holds up two shirts. One was just a plane white t-shirt that had the sleeves rolled up and the other was a dark grey and navy blue base ball t-shirt. 

"Which one?" He asks. 

"Eeerrmmm ... The white one with that vest you got the other day" 

"Was thinking the exact same thing" Calum says before slipping on the shirt, "Turn around missy" He says as he grips his towel. 

"One step ahead of you" I got under his blanket and hid my face in the pillow, "Now hurry before I die"

A few minutes later I feel a heavy body sitting on my back.

"DYING!" I manage to shout before shaking Calum off my back and onto the floor with a loud thud, "Much better" I tease as I get out from under the sheets. 

"You suck!" He whines, "You better make my bed" 

"Have you had breakfast yet?" I ask standing up from his bed, which I then re-make. 

"Breakfast? Don't you mean lunch" Calum points to the clock on the wall. 

It was 12:45 in the afternoon. 

"Oh right, shuttup I just got up!" I protest as I flatten out his sheets, "You're welcome" 

"You wanna go get something to eat before we meet up at Ashton's?" 

"You wanna buy it for me?" I put on my puppy dog face. 

"Fine! It's not fair that you're cute" 

"You know it" I wink, before getting my car keys and dragging him downstairs and out the door to my car. 

"It's really depressing that I can't drive" Calum sighs. 

"Well you're the one with the talent so I can be the one with the license" I tease before hopping in the car. 

Calum, Luke and Michael didn't get their license because they weren't ever in the same place long enough to drive around a lot. Only Ashton and I were the ones who could drive, which was both good and bad. Good because we can go where ever we wanted to at any time of the night, but bad because we end up being their chaffeur's. 

The whole car trip consisted of Calum and I scaring everyone on the road with our singing and dancing and almost running over a pedestrian because you just can't sit still when 'One For the Radio' by McFly comes on. We pull up at a little cafe near Ashton's house and Calum and I share a stack of blueberry pancakes. Luckily enough one of the workers was a fan of the band so the breakfast menu was open to us. 

"That was good food" Calum smiles as we get in the car. 

"Got that right" I start the car, "Now off to Ashton's!"
