2 Months

It's been 2 months since I've last seen Calum. I mean, I did miss him but I had other things keeping me occupied like university, my relationship with Nick and my newly found friendship with Luke. I'd see the other boys every now and again but when I'd see them, Calum would never be around. I was sitting outside the yoghurt shop that Nick works at, waiting for him to finish. Nick walks out of the store carrying a large cup of frozen yoghurt in his hand.

"Dinner is served" He grins, before giving me a peck on the lips.

"How was work?" I stand up and we start walking to the parking lot where my car was at.

"Good, yoghurt-ey and what not" He chuckles, "How was uni?"

"Uh you know, learnt about the same boring stuff I learn about everyday"

"Then why don't you just go off and dance? I mean that's what you're good at"

"I could say the exact sane thing about you studying photography, but both our answers would end up with the words 'it's what my parents want'"

"How did I end up with someone who's so smart?" Nick throws his arm over my shoulders and snuggles up closer to me.

*NEXT MORNING*

But all of that changed the next day. I wake up to my phone buzzing frantically. I see a name that I haven't seen in such a long time. Calum was texting me.

FROM: Calum

We need to talk

FROM: Calum

Hello ? Andie ? I know we're not on the greatest terms right now but it's important

FROM : Calum

Please dont ignore me

FROM : Calum

Okay it's 11:30 and you always get up at 11:30

FROM: Calum

I know you're awake!

FROM : Calum

I sound like a stalker

FROM : Calum

Hellloooooooooo

I laugh at his attempts of trying to contact me. Let's face it, I miss Calum, I miss having my best friend. I text him back.

TO : Calum

Where to?

A few seconds pass by before he texts me again.

FROM : Calum

Luke's, there's something we need to tell you

TO: Calum

Be there in 20 minutes, guessing I'll be picking you up on the way?

FROM : Calum

Nope! I'm already here

I get up and get dressed. I loved that Calum and I didn't have an awkward start to our first form of communication during the past two months, it made me realise that no matter what would happen Calum and I would still have the same relationship.

"I'm going to Luke's house Dad" I call, before giving him a kiss on the cheek.

He was in the kitchen making breakfast, "Okay bye sweetie"

I skip out to my car and start the engine. Nick starts calling me and I answer.

"Hey Dee"

"Goodmorning Nick, you're up early"

"Yeahhh I've got work again uhm today, I was just checking to see if you were awake"

"Yes I am"

"What are you doing today?"

"I'm heading over to Luke's house right now, Calum is there and they said they needed to talk to me, no biggie"

"Are you really gonna go and see him?"

"Yes? Why not?"

"It just sounds like he's seeking revenge I mean why hasn't he talked to you the past two months? He's probably just going to tell you something to make us break up"

"Woah there Nick where'd all that come from? He's my best friend whether or not we haven't talked in two months, you of all people should know that"

"Oookay ! But promise me you won't listen to anything stupid that he says"

"Yeah yeah yeah"

"Well I've gotta go, my uh train is uhm here"

"Okay bye Nick"

"Bye" He hangs up.

Strange call. But not even Nick could stop me from seeing my best friend. I continue my journey to Luke's house.

*CALUM'S POV*

-LUKE'S HOUSE-

"You can't be serious Cal, Nick wouldn't do something like that!" Luke replies, pausing our game of Fifa.

"Then what about this picture?! Tell me that, that isn't him and I'll go off to an optomitrist right now and get my eyes checked up" I reply shoving my phone in Luke's face.

"This could be anyone man"

"Well if it wasn't Nick then how come the exact same guy came up to me and begged me not to tell Dee?"

"It's just ... this is ... that prick"

"He's an asshole, I knew he wasn't right for Dee"

"No ones right for Andie except for you Cal" Luke resumes our game of Fifa, "How much more longer do you reckon it's gonna take for her to get here?"

"With her driving? I'm guessing the doorbell will ring in 5 seconds"

5 seconds later the doorbell rings.

"Here we go" Luke stands up to get the door.

It's not that I wanted Andie and Nick's relationship to end, I want Andie to be happy and it's better off if she knew and dumped him first instead of him dumping her. Andie is way too good to be with a guy like him, or even a guy like me.
