Calum's mum, dad, Mali, Xavier, Dad, Tori and the six of us sit outside Calum's operating room, waiting for just somebody to say something. The tears have stopped but I just want to see him. I want to know that he is okay. I want to see him move or at least see his chest rise and fall, as a signal that he will be okay. But nothing.  We've been sitting here for about 3 hours in complete and utter silence. Watching doctors and nurses come and go. Knowing that none of us can do anything about this situation makes the silence and the waiting even more painful. 

I stare down at the screen of my phone. It's a picture of Calum smiling. A smile that could brighten up even the darkest of days. The picture disappears from my phone and I look up at the person who has just walked out of the room. I spring to my feet and so does everyone else. 

"His ribs are badly bruised and 2 of them are fractured, and minor damage to the skull, but no news on whether the brain was affected" The doctor says straight forwardly. 

"Will he be okay?" I reply.

"We've got him on some heavy anesthetic right now, but we believe that he will pull through if there isn't any major damage to the brain" The doctor tells us. 

A wave of relief washes over all of us. 

"Can we go in and see him?" I ask, hoping that his reply will be a yes.

"I'm afraid not as he is still in an extremely fragile position, but you can most definitely come in tomorrow" The doctor says as a team of doctors come out of the room. 

"He will be fine right?" I make sure. 

"Yes, yes he will" The doctor reassures, "I suggest all of you go home and have a rest and come back in tomorrow morning"

"Thankyou doc" Calum's mum forces a smile. 

"No worries" He replies, "I'm Doctor Gordon by the way" He says as he walks off. 

I walk over to the door and peek through the window, to see Calum lying there just like he was before. 

"Come on you lot, you better go home and come back in the morning, I'll call you if anything happens" Renee walks over to the elevator to send us home.

"Could I wait around as well? I-If you don't mind?" I ask. 

"You look exhausted Andie, are you sure?" Calum's Dad replies. 

"I'm fine" I grin, slightly.

"Yeah we'll stay with her here as well, to keep her company as well" Ashton offers. 

"Are you sure?" I ask them.  They nod their heads and say goodbye to Rodney and Aaron. 

"I'll be back in the morning with a change of clothes, call me if you need anything alright?" Dad says to me as he pulls me into a tight hug and kisses my forehead. 

I nod my head as we pull away. 

"Don't worry Dee, he'll be walking and talking soon" Tori reassures me, "He'll be fine" She looks into my eyes more seriously. 

We all exchange hugs before they all walk off, leaving Ashton, Michael, Luke and I sitting on the floor outside of Calum's room.

"And now we wait" Ashton says, folding his arms across his chest and letting his head fall back on the wall. 

"I'll go downstairs to grab some food, I'll just get you guys whatever?" Xavier asks us. 

We look up at hime and vaguely nod. 

"I'll go help you with that" Calum's Dad gets up from his chair and walks to the elevator with X. 

Mali walks over to me and sits down, "He doesn't hate you Dee"
