Spoons

By the time we got to Jay's house, the party was in full effect. Calum's hands resting on either side of my waist, Luke, Michael and Ashton walking in behind us.

"Wow Dee!" I hear someone whistle as I walk through the door.

"Hey Deeg" I give him a hug.

"You look fine guuuuuurl" Deeg compliments.

"Aha! Thanks Deeg, where are the others?" I refer to Chris, Jay and Xavier.

"Xavier left early to go out with Mali and Chris and Jay are outside in the back" Deeg informs me.

"Okay cool! I'll see ya around"

"Thanks for today Dee!" Deeg shouts over to me.

"What happened today?" Calum asks.

"Oh, n-nothing he meant yesterday when we had a dance prac, I bought him a water bottle"

"Aren't you just helpful" Calum places a kiss on my neck, which causes me to giggle.

I lead the boys outside to see Chris and Jay sitting down with a bunch of girls surrounding them. When I say bunch I mean BUNCH.

"Hey Dee!" Jay waves.

I wave back and Calum holds onto my other hand.

"Hey? 5SOS?" One of the girls look at the boys standing beside me.

"Yeah" Michael replies.

"Guys, it's 5 Seconds Of Summer!" She says to the girls around her.

All of a sudden a bunch of girls are up on their feet, mingling with them. If Michael and Luke don't come out with a date after this, this is just a waste of time. I let go of Calum's hand and make my way over to Chris and Jay.

"You look different Dee" Chris raises an eyebrow, "Good different that is!"

"Thanks Chris, I've been getting that a lot tonight"

"Want a drink Dee?" Jay offers me, holding up a bottle of clear liquid.

"Uhh"

I haven't taken a drink of anything since Charlie's birthday party. I hear a bunch of girls giggling and asking Calum various questions. They are technically falling all over him. Not jealous, not jealous, not jealous. I look over and see that one of them has fallen in to Calum's arms.

"One won't hurt" I reply.

"Here ya go" Jay passes me the cup.

"Today was awesome, where did all of those moves come from Dee?" Chris asks me.

"Chris shh" Jay nudges him.

"Oh shit sorry" Chris replies, covering up what he said with taking a sip from his cup.

"No, no it's fine, he's occupied" I nod over to Calum.

"I've never seen so many tipsy girls fall all over 4 guys before" Jay laughs.

"It's become a usual thing" I reply, taking a large gulp from my cup.

Chris, Jay and I talk more about the competition today, Ashton slips out of the group of girls and takes a seat next to me.

"You alright buddy?" I pat his back.

"Yeah I'm good, wait" Ashton looks at the cup in my hand, "Are you drinking?"

"Just one, take the edge off" I smile.

"I don't mind, I can drive home tonight" Ashton offers, "You haven't been out in a while"

"Thanks Ash"

"I heard you guys won the competition today!" Ashton brings up.

Okay, this may sound terrible but I told Michael, Ashton and Luke about the competition and not Calum. I knew that if Calum was told bout the competition I wouldn't have been able to go unless he came with me, which I wouldn't mind if it weren't for the fact that I had to step in.

"All thanks to Dee here" Chris puts an arm around my shoulders.

I look over to Calum and see that he briefly glared at me before turning away. Well at least I don't have a tonne of girls throwing themselves at me. Calum, Michael and Luke stand around with the group of girls talking for what seemed like forever. 2 drinks later Chris and I get hungry so we walk into the house to get some food. People everywhere, they are either drinking, making out, throwing stuff around, dancing or chugging down bottles of beer as a competition.

Chris passes me a plate, "Thankyou"

"Hey Dee look" I look away from the food and see that Chris has managed to place a spoon on each of his eyes and his nose.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" I laugh.

"Try it!" Chris removes the spoons from his eyes and nose.

I take one of the spoons and attempt to make it stay.

"Here" Chris places the spoon right on top of my cheek, "Smile"

The spoon stays up and then he places on the other one.

"What are we doing?!" I laugh.

"I don't even know!" Chris passes me the next spoon, "Hey try the one on your nose"

"I'm failing at this" I continuously attempt to make the spoon stay, as Chris stands there recording me.

I feel another person enter the kitchen.

"Andie" Calum says.

"H-hey Cal" I try to stop myself from laughing as I remove the spoons from my face.

"Hey Calum" Chris greets him.

"Hi" Calum replies rather bluntly.

"What's wrong with you Mr. Grumpy pants?" I wrap my arms around Calum's neck.

"Nothing" Calum continues glaring at Chris.

"We were just playing around Cal" Chris defends himself.

"Yeah! Fuuuuuun! Remember that?" I'm guessing that the alcohol is taking its effect.

Calum breaks away from my arms and walks off.

"Sorry Chris" I apologise for Calum's behaviour.

"Don't sweat it! Go look after him" Chris tells me.

I run off to go look for Calum. Maybe this dress and these heels were a bad idea, but then again I didn't realise that I'd be walking around trying to find my pissed off boyfriend.

"Caaaaaalum" I call, "CAAAALLLLLLUUUUUUMMMMM" I walk outside to the front of the house and see Calum sitting at the steps of the front porch, "What are you doing sitting here? The party's in there"

Calum stays quiet.

"Hey" I sit down next to him, "What's up?"

Calum still doesn't talk.

"Okay don't tell me, but just know that I'm sitting on the front steps of a house in a very shifty neighbourhood in an incredibly revealing dress and bad things could possibly happen" I pause, "So if something does happen, that is because I decided to be a good girlfriend and see how my boyfriend is going"

"It's just"

"He speaks!"

"When I leave to go back onto tour, there's going to be guys chasing after you and I won't be here to protect you"

A smile grows on my face, "Calum" I make him look at me, "I'm a big girl, I can look after myself"

"Yeah but if you go around getting all dressed up and look as hot as you do right now-"

"How many times have you seen me bust out this dress? Or get this dressed up for a party?"

"Well ..."

"Exactly! This is a one time thing and I promise I only dress up for you" I link my arm underneath his and rest my chin on his shoulder.

"Really?" Calum turns his head to face me.

"Mhm" I nod my head.

Calum closes the conversation, pressing his lips against mine. He softly nibbles on my bottom lip, before his tongue enters. The kiss becomes more messy and lustful. His hand creeps down to my lower back as my arms lock around his neck.

"Ekhem" We hear someone cough.

Calum pulls away from me and we part to let the random couple walk into the party. We wait until they enter the house before laughing.

"I'm still not too sure about that Chris kid" Calum says.

"Caluummmmmm" I whine.

"What?! He was way too close to you"

"Shut up" I nudge him.

"I love you" He looks into my eyes.

"I love you too"

We share one last kiss before standing up.

"Fuck" Calum curses.

"What?! Are you okay?!" I look at him with pure concern.

"Someone call the ambulance cause it's hot in here! DAAAYYUUUMMMM" Calum shakes his collar.

"Come on" I grab his hand and we walk back into the party.
