Mali's Performance Night

*MALI'S PERFORMANCE NIGHT*

"CALUM!" I shout, running up the stairs.

I was picking up Calum so we could get to Mali's university performance. We had only 35 minutes to get to the city and Calum's place is 50 minutes away.

"HURRY UP!" I shout again, pushing open his door.

"ANDREA!" He yells back throwing a towel over his chest.

"Really Calum? You use my full name? Hurry up! We're gonna be late" I complain.

"I'm indecent! And why are you wearing converse with a dress?" He stares at my shoes.

"Why are you judging me? At least I'm full dressed" I tease, throwing a teddy bear at him.

"Hey! Don't hurt Mr. Fluffy" He retorts setting 'Mr. Fluffy' back on the bed nicely, "But you look nice"

"Sorry Mr. Fluffy" I pat its head, "Thanks Cal" I smile, "Now hurry up and get changed!"

"Alright, alright!"

I walk out of his bedroom and down to where his mum was cooking dinner.

"Smells great in here Renee" I compliment.

"Thanks Dee, if you get back here late, stay over okay?" She replies, looking up from her pot of gold. A.K.A amazing food.

"No it's fine, I can drive back home" I say, sitting down at a bench next to the counter.

"Andie, you're staying over, I don't want something to happen to you"

"Way to jinx me Ren!" I tease.

"I'm sorry!" She apologises, "But seriously stay over tonight okay?"

"Okay" I give in.

"Great" Renee grins.

I hear loud thuds coming from the stair case.

"Does he not know how to walk like a human being?" I joke.

"He doesn't know how to eat like one either" She teases, as I laugh.

"I'm ready!" Calum says, running into the kitchen, "Ooo Mum save me some yeah?" He refers to the food being cooked.

"If your Dad doesn't beat ya to it" She chuckles, "You two better get going! Or you'll be late"

I look up at the clock, "You're right! Bye Renee" I walk over to her and give her a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

"Bye Andie, drive safely alright?"

"I will" I smile.

"Bye Mum" Calum says, giving her a kiss on the cheek.

"Be careful, look after eachother!" Renee calls before we run out to the car.

We jump into the car, I start the engine and drive off.

"As I said, you look very nice Dee" Calum grins. *OUTFIT IN EXTERNAL*

"Thanks Cal, you do too" I compliment him.

"So I'm guessing we're going to have to go all fast and furious?" Calum asks.

"And your guess is correct, make sure your seat belt is on" I reply, before getting onto the motorway and stepping on the accelerator.

Luckily for me, there were no cameras on the motorway and hardly any cops stand nearby and we get to Mali's university with 2 minutes to spare. I park the car in the student parking, Mali gave me a little tag to stick on my window that showed that I was a student here. We run out, Calum grabbing my hand and pulling me along with him.
