"And up we go" Calum says as himself and Ashton lift the wheelchair I'm residing in for the next few months, up the stairs of the front porch.

"Ooo we should make a ramp!" I gasp as Calum wheels me up toward the front door as my Dad unlocks it.

Calum pushes me up and into my house. Home sweet home!

"Now when you need to lady business call one of us alright?" Dad tells me as he hooks his keys behind the door.

"Well maybe just call on your Dad" Calum tells me.

I lift up my arm and weakly pat Calum's arm, "How long will I be this weak for?"

"Hopefully forever! Or else we'd have bruises everyday just from you" Ashton points out as everyone else chuckles.

"You're lucky" I smirk at them.

"Carl said that you'll be stronger within the next week, with the physio and yadayadayada" Dad replies, "Go watch a movie or something while I cook you all dinner"

"Can't argue with that" Luke grins.

"You're welcome Luke" Dad laughs before resuming back to what he was doing.

Calum wheels me over to the living room and places me next to the couch.

"Maybe I should fracture my spine too, then I could just sit down all day and have my very own servants" Michael wonders, sitting down on the couch.

"Ooo then we could be wheelchair buddies!"

"Hi-5! Oh wait" Michal realises that I can't really lift my arms up properly, "Mental hi-5" Michael puts his head up against mine, "Did you feel it?"

"Yes? I think?"

"And I am friends with you both because??" Ashton drops himself on the couch next to Michael.

"We're amazing" Michael and I say at the same time.

*LATER  THAT NIGHT*

Calum and I are in the garage, where I was once able to dance, but things change. Calum has a guitar in his hands and was sitting down across from me on a chair. 

"So how's it going cripple?" 

"Y'know cripple" I chuckle as he joins in. 

"Those two months that we didn't talk was hell you know that right?" 

"It sucked" I reply instantly.

"There was this one song that just kept going through my mind"

"Please don't attempt to do an of mice and men song, because if you are I'll wheel away" I protest. 

Calum scoffs jokingly, "Damn it! How did you know?"

"We've been friends for a while, but what song?" 

"Can I sing it?" 

"You don't have a guitar in your hand for no apparent reason Cal" I add with sarcasm in my voice. 

"Shut up" He begins to strum on the guitar. 

"Do you hear me? I'm talking to you

Across the water across the deep blue ocean 

Under the open sky, oh my, baby I'm tryin" Calum nods his head in my direction, signalling for me to join in.

Calum continues for the rest of the song, I join in occasionally. But during the whole time, my eyes never leave Calum. I do not blink once. This song, this moment, just him, him in general. I miss him. I miss us. I zone out for a moment, but suddenly zoned back in when Calum's lips touch mine. Calum pulls away. 

"I-I'm so sorry I-I shouldnt've done that, I'm so sor-" 

"No Calum, it's fine"

There is a break of silence before he speaks again. 

"Look Andie, I miss you and I have never stopped loving you ever since the day you left, I've been trying to let go but I-I just can't" Calum begins to ramble on, but I stop him. 

"I still" 

"You still?"

"Love you too" 

A gentle smile creeps up on Calum's face. 

"I'm sorry what was that?" Calum puts his ear closer to me, "Could you please say it again for me? I'm pretty deaf" 

"I still love you" 

"I still can't hear you! What did you say?" 

"I still love you" I say louder. 

"I'm sorry but being in a band and all my hearing has gone down quite a bit, what was that?" 

"I LOVE YOU!" I announce loudly, "I love you, I love you, I loooooooove you, I love you" 

Calum chuckles lightly, "Now THAT I heard" Calum leans his face closer to mine, setting the guitar leaning up against the side of his chair. 

Calum leans closer and closer to me at a verry slow pace.

"Just kiss me already!" I complain, before he kisses me again.
