Chapter 4

"MOM!" Xandrea called her mom's attention.

"Yes bunso?" Her mom asked when she reach her.

"Do you think Kuya's soon to be wife will like that bag as my gift?" She suddenly ask and pointing out the bag in the collections special edition.

"I think so! Why don't you call your kuya and ask him about it," her mom shrugs her shoulder.

They were at the outlet and she's planning to buy the Prada bag for her Kuya's fiancé. She didn't know who the lucky girl was. She remembered that her kuya and her bestfriend just broke up. That time she wanted to go back to the Philippines right away, to see her girl bestfriend and her kuya. But she refrain herself from doing that. She might gonna see Zayrex if she does.

"Call her now anak!" utos ng kanyang ina sa kanya. Hindi din nito alam kung sino ang babaeng pakakasalan ng kuya niya dahil surprise daw. Kahit anong pilit nilang mag-ina na sabihin ng kuya niya kung sino ang pakakasalan nito ay ayaw nitong sabihin. Kaya naman naging masaya na lamang sila para sa kanyang kuya.

"Okay mom!" she said and get her phone to dial her kuya Xander's number.

She checked the time and it was only five in the morning in the Philippines. Xandrea prepared herself to hear her kuya's irritated voice but to her dismay, it wasn't her kuya who answered the call.

"Hello!" the girl from the other line said with her irritating and husky voice.

"Can I speak with Xander? Is he available?" nakataas ang kila na tanong niya kahit na hindi siya nakikita nito. She didn't recognize the voice because it's husky and kind of hard to recognize.

"Why? What do you want from him? Are you his girl?" parang biglang nagisingan ang adrenalin ng babaeng kausap niya sa kabilang linya dahil biglang lumakas ang boses nito. She heard growling from the other line which she guess it's her kuya.

"What if I am? What would you do?" panghahamon niya.

"Well you better f*ck off or better yet kill yourself. Because I'm not gonna give him to you without a good fight, bitch!" inis na sabi nito sa kabilang linya na naging dahilan ng pagtawa niya ng malakas na mukhang ikinainis naman lalo ng nasa kabilang linya. Her mom is looking at her with a confused looks.

She mouthed her wait then smiled at her to tell her that she's okay.

"Why are you laughing? Arrrgh!" inis na sigaw nito at bigla na lang itong nawala sa kabilang linya.

Xandrea can't help it but to laugh out loud. Hindi niya namalayan na naaagaw na niya ang attention ng mga taong nandoon at nagsha-shopping din.

"Mom kuya's fiancee is crazy!" hindi mapigilang tumawa na sabi niya.

"Why?" natatawa na din nitong tanong kahit na hindi pa nito nalalaman ang kwento.

"Eh kasi naman nagselos agad galit na galit. Magkasama ata silang dalawa ngayon, the girl sounds like she just woke up. It sounds like bedroom voice," tumatawa pa ding sabi niya.
