"Uh oh." I woke up from a feeling of liquid.
"Austin, wake up!"
"What's wrong?"
"She's coming! My water broke!" He jumped off the bed, got clothes on and helped me out of the bed.
"Oww."
We've been in the hospital for 5 hours now. The pain is so bad.
"How you doing baby?"
"It hurts." He kissed my forehead.
"Your almost there."
"Oww."
"Another contraction?" I nodded my head. Then the doctor walked in.
"Okay. We examined you, and it looks like we have to do a c-section." My eyes widen with tears in them.
"The baby is upside down and we need to get her out. So we'll go clean up and we'll see you in 5 minutes." Then they left.
"Hey, its okay. Everything will be alright."
"I'm scared."
"I know. But you'll be able to see her sooner." I nodded my head.
I''m laying here with a curtain in front of my face. I can't feel anything below my boobs. It feels like I'm paralyized. Then I heard crying. I smiled. I saw Austin video taping.
"Shes beautiful." Then I saw her. My baby daughter.
"Hi baby. I'm your mommy." Austin gave me a kiss. The nurse took her away to clean her, and get her footprints.
"Whats her name?" "Emily Michelle Mahone."
