Alexandra woke up in Aubrey's bed (hers too but she was still iffy on cohabiting) alone. She stretched and smelled her custom OVO hoodie and smiled. Aubs and Alexandra hadn't seen each other in a few days and one side could say it was the precursor to trouble but another side could say that they're adults. They don't have to be attached to the hip.
[Flashback to Alexandra and AJ arguing in her apartment]
AJ kissed her.
Calm down. Alexandra didn't enjoy the kiss. But it did bring up a lot of feelings and emotions Alexandra thought were buried by her engagement. She was NOT rebounding by marrying Aubrey. She was NOT running away from or sabotaging herself and Aubrey by kissing AJ. She didn't kiss him. She didn't want to kiss him. There wasn't a reuniting feeling or sense of true clarity by the kiss. It didn't mean anything to Alexandra. She didn't want anything from AJ. She didn't want him back, she didn't need him back and this made her more and more in love with Aubrey. It was like her invisible clean slate. She pushed him away and wiped her lips.
Alexandra: Yo. What the fuck?!
AJ tried to kiss her again so Alexandra slapped him. Hard.
Alexandra: That is not fair. You can't walk out of my life and then come back when things finally go good. This isn't a small cable show. You're not the reoccurring boyfriend that tries to win me over and succeed. I don't want you, I never wanted you and I'm marrying him. Even if I married him today or three years from now, I'm over you. I'm done with you. I wish you were dead for what you did to me and what you tried to do with my life. Ruin both of them.
Alexandra slapped him again and kicked him.
Alexandra: Get out!
[Now]
Alexandra got out of bed and went into Aubrey (and her) closet. And picked out and outfit. After that she headed to the bathroom and took a shower while listening to Thank Me Later on her iPhone. She got out while singing Karaoke. Alexandra put on a striped TopShop crop top and pencil skirt and some red heels. She decided to take Aubrey's Range Rover for a spin and go shopping. Aubrey left Alexandra his black card with a note that said: "Just make sure you buy something we can both enjoy ;)". Alexandra bought some crop tops, heels and got her hair done. She got her hair dyed reddish brown, layered and some highlights. With her shades on and bags in her hands, Alexandra strolled down Rodeo Drive then some girls stopped her.
Blonde: Oh my god. Are you Drake's new girlfriend?
Alexandra: Yeah.
Brunette: Aren't you a model to?
Alexandra: Yes.
The Blonde held out W magazine with Alexandra on the cover with a sharpie.
Blonde: OMG. You are so gorgeous, can I have your autograph?
Alexandra smiled and took the pen. She made the autograph out to Madison and gave the girls their magazine back and continued down the bustling sidewalk. Once Alexandra got into the truck she called Aubrey.
Alexandra: Oh my god. So I was out shopping and these adorable girls came up to me and asked for my autograph. And I was on the cover of W magazine.
Aubrey (Laughing): You ARE a model.
Alexandra: Duh. I just didn't know that I got the cover. I'm so excited!!
Aubrey: I guess we're gonna celebrate tonight. Look I gotta go but I'll see you later gorgeous. I love you.
Alexandra: I love you too.
Aubrey: Oh wait. I'm really proud of you Alexandra. Bye.
Alexandra smiled and sat in the car. She was excited that she had made the cover of W magazine and she was also excited that Aubrey was proud of her for something even though she didn't have to do anything for him to be proud. Just be herself. Today was also the first day Alexandra had driven by herself since her accident. When Alexandra got home she gave her glasses, bags and keys to the maid to take to their room and she went into the kitchen for some food. She went into the refrigerator and came out with a bottle of Pepsi in one hand and her phone in another and Aubrey came behind her and grabbed her arms. Alexandra dropped both things in her hands.
