Alexandra: Why does he look exactly like you?

Aubrey (Playing with a baby boy): I dunno.

Alexandra (Walking over to them): It's like he's not even my baby.

Aubrey (Looking over at Alexandra): He's my baby.

Aubrey, 31 and Alexandra, 27 shared a look while Aubrey held the little boy. It was like the pieces to the puzzle were completed.

[In Reality]

Aubrey and Noah sat in a hospital waiting room. They didn't even know if it was the right hospital, Aubrey just wanted some answers. But being back in that stop and go setting was déjà vu for Aubrey. It was the most surreal feeling ever.

Aubrey (With his hands on his face): Ya know...I imagined the next time I'd be in here...I'd be done with rapping and she would be having a baby. Our baby. (Noah looked at him) I don't really care if it was a boy or a girl. Or a boy or a girl. I just want a family you know?

Noah just kept looking at Aubrey. Aubrey still looked calm. He didn't look as distressed as he sounded. What Noah and the other guys failed to realize was that when something big was coming up for Aubrey, he was in a daze. Like things weren't real for him. Things went on in a flip book fashion. But he still didn't fully grasp the downfall of his relationship. This wasn't her classic back and forth. This wasn't her kidnapping. This wasn't her abortion. He didn't know how much trouble his world as he knew it was.

[Aubrey's Fantasy]

Aubrey: Are you sure about retiring from modeling?

Alexandra (Who maintained her figure but had strawberry blonde hair): Yeah. You can't go on forever and the stores are doing great. Some people still have something they wanna chase after they have a kid. I've chased and gotten all that I wanted.

She smiled at Aubrey.

Aubrey: My mom and dad wanna take him out for the day.

Alexandra (Watching their son play on the floor): Yeah! That sounds perfect. We could go out.

Aubrey: Or we can stay in.

Aubrey leaned over and kissed Alexandra, then picked up the baby and took him upstairs to get him dressed. Sandi showed up to their house an hour later for the baby.

Sandi (Grabbing him): There's my baby Aden! (Looking at Alexandra) How are you sweetheart?

Alexandra: I'm great. Who knew Graham boys were so easy to raise.

Alex laughed.

Sandi: Awww. I'm so happy for you. Two.

Alexandra: I wanted to name him Sher but-

Sandi: Oh it's fine! (Looking at Aden) I'm gonna take this cutie and let you two have some time together.

Sandi left and Alexandra went to lay on the couch. She had been up nonstop with Aden and her store for a week. She wore it well but she was totally drained. She fell asleep on the couch leaving Aubrey to do whatever he wanted.

[Flashback]

Alexandra was the lucky one in the relationship, she was able to sleep more. Aubrey was almost late for an appearance he needed to make because he was watching Alexandra sleep. She was still in costume and makeup but she was napping away. She was so innocent. That's what made her so amazingly unique. As cut throat and hard and scheming as the industry she was in and wanted to marry into was, she maintained her girl next door quality. She was paid to be sexy. She was marketable because she was attractive and mysterious and different. With such a conventional name her personality made her so very unconventional.

Chubbs: Yo, we gotta go.

Aubrey nodded his head at Chubbs then looked back at Alexandra who was still asleep. He kissed her forehead then left.

[Now]

Aubrey shook his head.

Aubrey: What happened to her?

[Flashback]

Alexandra thought about how trapped she felt in that hotel room. She thought about how trapped she felt in her life. She was right back where it all started. New York City. She fought for the man that had changed everything about her. She never wanted to get married. She never wanted to have children. She was prepared to just be by herself. That's what she felt she could only do. But Aubrey, someone with a huge spotlight shining on him, made Alexandra feel like it was just them two sometimes. She felt like all of her flaws were just a half of an attribute. She wanted somebody to love. And she wanted somebody to love her. But right now. In this huge room. With this music playing in her ear. With her face red and her throat feeling like it's closing up because of all of her crying. Love was not enough. Alexandra wasn't as insecure as she was before. She didn't feel like she was coming in second. She didn't feel like she was taking the back burner to anything or anyone else. She felt like Aubrey didn't feel the same. She felt like Aubrey wasn't even in love anymore. And she couldn't understand why. But it literally broke her heart to even imagine him not feeling the same anymore. It shattered her. It disabled her. She took a couple of deep breaths so she could finally sit up. Alexandra was by her purse, her cell phone, the coke and her purse. She started to separate the lines on a mirror then paused. All those years of sobriety. All those years of avoidance. She could drink and be around drugs and not even think about coke. And she's had down moments. Low points in life but this was rock bottom. And she couldn't keep moving in and out of his place. That's what was annoying. She knew if she broke up with him there was a chance they would keep doing this song and dance. Alexandra started back at the lines. Then she stopped again. She sat there then got up, took the mirror and dumped it in the toilet and flushed. She went back into the living room and sat back in her circle of misery. She went into her purse for some gum then an old bottle of OxyContin rolled out of her bag. Drunk and alone, Alexandra dumped out 5 pills and took them. She stumbled over to the counter and washed the pills down with the rest of her glass of vodka. Alexandra laid back in the floor until everything slowed down and she slowly faded away.
