Aubrey walked into Alexandra's room. He was exhausted and actually needed to get back to work but be needed to see Alex. He sat beside her. Alexandra slowly turned her head and looked at him. She was doing a lot better and had a lot more time to think and be rational for at least a day.

Aubrey: What did you do to yourself?

Alexandra: What this life is doing to me. What this relationship is doing to me.

Aubrey: What are you saying?

Alexandra: What do you think I'm saying? This is bullshit. We're bullshit. While I'm dead or alive you're out at dinner with your ex ASSUMING I either wouldn't find out or would NEVER find out. So riddle me this, Drake. (Throwing her pillow at him) What'd you talk about? What'd you do? Because you're single in public. Sooo. How was it? How was dinner?

Aubrey: We didn't have sex Alex.

Alexandra: But you went on a date. (Pausing) Do you know how many times my heart stopped? Because I drugged myself because I felt like you didn't love me anymore.

Aubrey put down the pad he was drawing another chair on. Alexandra looked at it.

Alexandra: And why are you always drawing chairs?!

Aubrey: Why are you so insecure about her?

Alexandra: Fuck would I be insecure about?

Aubrey (Adjusting his backwards hat): I dunno. You tell me. You always get this pissy attitude when you even think about me and her together. I've been with you longer than I was with her. And I've always been with you. I didn't go back to her. You break up with me? I get with a stripper. You try to kill yourself over me? I rush to New York before I have to release an album. The VMAs are in two days and I'm here. I'm not even supposed to be rumored to be in New York yet. I break the rules of "Drake" and the type of celebrity everyone expects me to be for you, Alexandra. So don't patronize me or yourself or this relationship by thinking I got back with her.

Alexandra's...death (?) made her someone totally different. More ready to speak her mind other than run and hide.

Alexandra: You done?

Aubrey: No. I know you've been going through a hard time but look. This is almost over. Me and you are gonna be fine. This is honestly...the happiest I've ever been. And me treating you the way I didn't wasn't me showing you that. But we got a second chance. We got a second chance. I feel like we should take this and run with it.

Alexandra and Aubrey weren't gonna get any better than Aubrey and Alexandra. Alexandra had horrible taste in men and a good relationship for her lasted only one month and whatever other time that was left if any was left was miserable. Aubrey was fond of girls that fulfilled his "right now". A fat ass, an ok face and a slim waist was for right now. But as complicated as Alexandra seemed, Aubrey needed her. She was rational and she had this innocent and docile ora that was calming to his most hectic emotions. Aubrey wasn't an angry guy but having a girl like Alexandra lurking in his shadows kept him even calmer.

Alexandra: I get out today.

Aubrey (Sitting back): I'm turning in the album on the third.

Alexandra: I love you.

Aubrey looked down then back into Alexandra's eyes. Aubrey and Alexandra had a thing where they could share a look and it spoke an entire novel. Aubrey grabbed Alexandra's hand. His hand felt so heavenly. She missed his soft touch so much.

Aubrey (Still holding her hand): Don't ever leave me again.

Alexandra didn't respond. Aubrey got up to leave and he touched heads with Alexandra. She grabbed him and kissed him.

[Flashback]

Alexandra had just experienced her first party at the YOLO estate. Alexandra tried to help Aubrey clean up.

Alexandra (Holding a bag and throwing cups into it): This was live as hell. I can't believe it took me so long to go to a YOLO party.

Aubrey (Walking up from the grotto): I actually invited you to a couple a while ago.

Alexandra: Well, I'm a busy girl.

Aubrey (Rushing behind her and picking her up): Well, I love that busy girl.

Alexandra turned around and smiled at Aubrey.

Alexandra (With her arms around his neck): Really?!

Aubrey (Still holding her): Yes I do. I love you Alexandra.

Aubrey kissed her. Ryan and OB ran up in front of them and shouted "OVO SOUND" & poured champagne all over Alexandra and Aubrey.

[Now]

Aubrey pulled away to leave but Alexandra held on to him. That same bond that Alexandra felt was broken was repairing itself.

Alexandra (Silently): Two more minutes.

Aubrey looked at her. He saw the broken and helpless look in her eyes. For Aubrey, it was obvious he wasn't fully over his parents breakup. He didn't really know how to be in a relationship and neither did she. Something that proved itself over and over. But he wanted more than anything to see their relationship through. He needed her just as much as...

Alexandra: I need you.

Aubrey: Can I get you out now?

Alexandra (Letting go): I dunno. Why don't you just do whatever you have to do and I'll be at my place.

Alexandra kissed Aubrey for as long as she could then let go so he could go finish working. Around about 4 that afternoon, Alexandra checked out of the Lenox hospital alive and well, according to TMZ. She was sited to have been checked in for extreme exhaustion and depression. She walked out in a Kanye West plain white T-shirt, Ugg boots and ripped Hollister jeans. She flew back to California on a private jet and talked to her mom the whole way.

[On the jet]

Angel: I just don't what this to happen to you again, sweetheart.

Alexandra: I'll start going back to therapy.

Angel: You know therapy hasn't worked for you. This would be the third time you went back to therapy and you're under thirty.

Alexandra: I know mom.

Angel: Look, I know you're in love and that you're living your dream and you worked so hard to get to where you are and I'm proud of you. But I don't think California is the best place for you anymore.

Alexandra thought about the fact that she would've died in New York but she didn't say anything.

Alexandra: What are you trying to say?

Angel: That maybe you can come back home or at least to the east coast and run the spa. You don't have to be back home. Look, I know I was wrong about California the first time but maybe it's time to come back.
