It'd been 3 weeks since Alexandra and Aubrey had seen each other face to face in about 3 weeks. Aubrey was so busy setting up his tour that even though they shared a bed, they never really got to spend real time together and Alexandra was setting up her first Calabasas boutique. The separation didn't weigh on them the way it should because they were supposed to be establishing trust. But it did in fact make things a little awkward between them. A few days after he gave Alexandra his car, he had to go. Video shoots, magazine shoots, planning his tour, they got little time together. But they were used to their busy schedules together, their busy schedule apart shouldn't have been that bad.
[Flashback to a recent phone conversation between Aubrey and Alexandra]
Alexandra (Getting things out of her new car): I miss you.
Aubrey (On the set of a video): I miss you too. How's the store coming?
Alexandra: It's coming along. Sometimes I wonder if I'm making the right choice.
Aubrey: Whatever happens, I'll take care of you.
Alexandra (Smiling and walking into an empty store front): I'm glad to hear that. How's your shoot?
Aubrey (Tugging at his shirt): Have you ever heard of a Dada?
Alexandra: Like...from the 90's?
Aubrey (Laughing): Yeah.
Alexandra (Setting the box down and looking over order forms): Sadly.
Aubrey: You'll love it when you see it. (Chuckling) I love you baby girl, I'll talk to you soon.
Alexandra: Bye Aubrey. I love you.
Alexandra hung up and went to the workers in her shop and Aubrey hung up and got out of the director's chair onto the set of his video.
Alexandra had spent a week working non-stop on her brand new store. She wanted to have a mid-summer opening so she could also appeal to rich kids going back to school shopping. Aubrey offered to help on the efforts of her store but Alexandra turned him down. She didn't want to feed into whatever rumors of her only being with Aubrey for whatever fame she could gain in the process. Things were coming along well and the same went for Aubrey. He was done shooting his video and he was in the editing process. Him and Alexandra made a deal that in a few days, he would come home and they would have a night for just them. Aubrey thought that it would just be movies or some pool or they even might just swim. But Alexandra wanted to make the night special. She thought it would keep their romance spontaneous and fun. And it would congratulate and thank Aubrey for everything. She had the perfect plan.
Alexandra decided to take Nicole out in her new Bugatti so she could see her new gift and so Nicole could help with her special night with Aubrey. Alexandra decided to go to Victoria Secret for the entire night's attire. First, she needed an outfit for dinner. Her and Nicole talked, as Alexandra browsed through the clothes. Looking for the perfect thing.
Nicole: What do you have in mind?
Alexandra (picking up a dress then putting it down): Umm. A dinner, a massage...more dinner.
Alexandra laughed.
Nicole: You're a freak.
Alexandra (Picked up a black lace dress): This is perfect! And I'm marrying a rapper. I don't see where being sweet and innocent gets you.
Alexandra went to the dressing room and tried on the black lace dress. It was a black bodycon dress, with sleeves and the most of the back was out. She was a size two in dresses so her figure framed amazingly well in something like that. In anything in all reality. And Alexandra had spent the little free time that she had in the gym making sure that she was looking just right for when Aubrey came back. Genes took care of the rest. When she stepped out of the dressing room, Nicole's face dropped.
