Aubrey: Why were you there Alexandra?!
Alexandra: Because I wanted to end it. I wanted him to know it would be over.
Aubrey: And you couldn't have FaceTimed him?!
Alexandra (Sitting in a far chair of their empty home studio): No!
Aubrey (Messing with the sound board): It sounds like you gave him intent for something to happen.
Alexandra (Getting up): That's bullshit and you know it. Why can't anyone trust that I just want this over.
Aubrey (Stopping): Because. You went out there and you were with him then came back to me. You know deep down that you still love him and I guess I have to live with that. That'll be my karma. But after a while its starting to look like you're stringing me along.
Alexandra: Damn it, Aubrey. (Walking to the door then back to Aubrey. Taking a deep breath) He was all I knew. He was all I was used to. I was an abused model with a budding coke habit and he was there. It didn't look as bad as before but I knew we couldn't be together. (Pausing) When I heard there was a possibility of you messing around with your ex and it seemed pretty valid? I went back to him. (Sitting in a chair) Everything with you is different.
Aubrey kneeled down to Alexandra's eye level and put his hands on her knees.
Aubrey: I just want the best for you baby. And I don't want either one of our lives to mess up what we have. Not my skanky ass exes and not yours. I just want us to be happy. (Staring into Alexandra's eyes) I love you.
[Flashback]
Alexandra: You know, for once I would just love it if you stopped trying to manipulate me. Maybe if you were honest. Just a little honest.
AJ: I told you how I felt about you. I told you I loved you. I told you I cared. You got up and left and got back into his bed.
Alexandra: It wouldn't have had to be that way if you knew how to have a relationship like an adult.
They looked at each other. Then AJ kissed Alexandra.
AJ: Tell me...I'm not being an adult. Tell me you just didn't want to be with me and that'll be it.
Alexandra: I couldn't be with you. This couldn't, wasn't and isn't ever gonna work. I had to end it. I have to end this.
Alexandra left and sat in her car for a few hours.
[Now]
Aubrey: I can't tell you how much I look forward to getting off of a plane to you or seeing you smiling from backstage. My mom adores you. She even took hair tips from you. You blend in with my friends, the press that has an idea that we're dating loves you. Even the fans that don't want to rape me like you. By you wearing this ring you've already ended things with him in my eyes. The only question I have is, is it over for you?
Honestly, the entire relationship dynamic was different for Alexandra. She never told Aubrey but she read about relationships and although there wasn't much to go off of it seemed like he didn't pick the right ones to be in. She knew that she loved Aubrey. She knew she wanted to marry him. She knew that no one else made her feel the way he did. It was also well known that he felt the same way too. The passion that they shared was deeper than any song, photoshoot, ex, Media Takeout article. None of that stuff mattered. None of that stuff rendered their relationship worthless. Nothing could keep them apart. Even when broken up, they were still together. In mind, in spirit and in person.
[Flashback]
Aubrey and Alexandra were in her bedroom rolling around on her floor like teenagers. They were laughing & giggling in the heat of the moment. It was hot in her penthouse and Aubrey and Alexandra had just got finished swimming. So she was in her bathing suit and he was wearing basketball shorts over trunks. Alex finally got on top of Aubrey and smiled at him.
Alexandra: When do you have to go?
Aubrey: I have all the time in the world.
Aubrey flipped Alexandra over so be could get on top and kissed her. Alex was still wet from the pool but Aubrey's warm and muscular hands warmed her up. For Aubrey, he hadn't been this playful with sex since high school. There was wild, stripper and porn star sex but there was actually having fun with someone. He was actually having fun with Alexandra. It seemed gross but the sweat between them too made things twenty times better. Once they made it to the bed, pinned her down going deeper and deeper every time.
[Now]
Alexandra had to leave but told Aubrey she'd be back to see Spirit and Sade. She had to sit in a meeting for a few hours for her store and possibly having a store magazine like something like an H&M. She came home with several shopping bags and met everyone in the safari room. She'd met the girls a few times before but she still wanted to make a good impression on the girls. When she got home everyone greeted her.
Spirit & Sade: Auntie Alex!!!
They both hugged her and almost knocked Alex over. She smiled and hugged them both.
Alexandra: Hi girls!
Aubrey hugged her and helped with her bags. Spoon walked up to Alex and greeted her too.
Alexandra (Laughing): Hey everyone.
Everyone else watching from the couch as they watched Catfish on the flat screen.
Alexandra kneeling down to the girls.
Alexandra: I got you guys some things! (Handing them the bag) The store did really well and I knew I would see you guys so why not spoil my little spoons.
Alexandra stood up to Aubrey's smile and a hug from Spoon.
Spoon: That was really sweet of you Alexandra.
Alexandra: No problem. It's the least I can do for you being an amazing friend and body guard and for these two adorable little girls.
She smile down at them as they pulled out their shirts and dresses. Aubrey hugged her and talked in her ear.
Aubrey: That was really amazing of you Alex.
Alexandra (Hugging him back): Thank you. (With a smile) Dinner tonight?
Aubrey: Only if I get to eat you first.
Aubrey kissed Alex on the cheek and went back to everyone else. Alexandra looked on in horror and complete interest to what Aubrey said but she just decided to get a drink and work on her laptop until Spoon had to take the girls home. Aubrey did in fact take Alexandra to dinner at a fancy restaurant in the valley. They sat in a low lit corner so no one could see or recognize them.
Aubrey (Sipping his wine): I thought what you did today for the girls was adorable.
Alexandra: I know how much you love the girls and I love them too. I love children.
Aubrey: Do you now?
Alexandra: Of course I do. (Laughing) You're amazing with the girls though, I just wanted to do something nice for them since he is an amazing bodyguard.
Aubrey smiled at Alexandra.
Aubrey: I'm playing my album for everyone tomorrow. I want you to be there.
Alexandra: Nothing or no one is holding me back from being there. (Smiling and putting her arms on the table) I wouldn't miss it for the world.
