Chapter 20 _"She's Mine"_

Kimbert's POV

I groan when I heard my phone rang. Tsk! Ang aga-aga namang mambwisit nito.

"Whoever the hell are you, you better have a good damn reason for calling me so early" I said without looking at the caller i.d

"Meet me now. I'll just text you the details" the girl on the other side of the phone said and then she cut off the line. Kumunot ang noo ko. Mayamaya pa nakatanggap ako ng text about the details of our supposed to be meet-up.

"Who the hell are you and why should I meet up with you?" text ko dun sa unknown number.

(You don't have to know who I am. You'll find out later anyway. And this is about Yanna)

Nag-init bigla ang ang ulo ko. Anong kinalaman ni Yanna dito?

"What about her?" text ko sa kanya pero hindi na siya nagreply pa. I tried calling the number pero mukhang pinatay na niya ang phone niya. Muntik ko nang matapon yung phone ko sa inis. Nagmadali na lang akong maligo at magbihis. If this is about Yanna, then I want to know what this is all about.

Ang tagal naman ng babaeng yun. Kanina pa ako naghihintay dito sa labas ng bookstore. Kung hindi lang talaga kay Yanna, hindi ako makikipagkita sa kanya.

Mayamaya may nakita akong papalapit sakin. I now recognize who she is.Ni hindi man lang siya nag effort na tumakbo para makabawi sa oras na sinayang niya. Tsk!

I admit that she's pretty. But not as beautiful as my Yanna. She's so gorgeous inside and out. Even if sometimes she's stubborn and ill-tempered. But that's what makes her fantastic.

"Daydreaming again, loverboy?" tanong sakin ni Janine. Hindi ko namalayan na nakalapit na pala siya sakin.

"What do you want?" I might as well get to the point. She's just a waste of my time. And if she didn't mention Yanna's name, then I probably won't agree to this meet-up in the first place.

She flashes me her infamous smirk. "I want to take what's mine"

I gave her a confused look. "And I'm here because . . ."

"I want to take Jhino back. And I can't do that with Yanna hanging around"

"Anong kinalaman ni Yanna dito?" I asked but she just laughed in amusement.

"Hindi mo ba alam? Jhino and Yanna are practically dating" nagulat ako sa sinabi niya pero pinaningkitan ko lang siya ng mata. There's no way na maniniwala ako sa kanya. She can be crafty sometimes.

"I don't believe you" sabi ko sa kanya but she just shook her head while smirking. "Is that what you want to tell me? You practically drag me from my bed just for this crap? You're unbelievable" I said at tinalikuran ko na siya. That girl is insane.

I went to the parking lot. I am about to go inside the car when I heard voices who are clearly arguing. Familliar voices to be exact. I followed those voices and I saw Yanna and Jhino.

"I mean, why would I stay away from my own cousin?" sabi ni Yanna na natatawa.

"C-cousin?" gulat na tanong ni Jhino.

"Yes. So tell me, since you're my BOYFRIEND, why would I stay away from my cousin?" tanong ni Yanna. Pinagdiinan niya talaga ang salitang BOYFRIEND sa mukha ni Jhino. My jaw dropped. Boyfriend? Kelan pa?
