Chapter 12 : Elric family and Envy vs Ling and bodyguards

-Big sis we have a problem! Al shouts.

-What's happening?!

I stand up quickly and prepare myself to fight.

-It's Ling!

I stay silent for a minute, looking at him, then facepalm.

I punch Lan Fan, sending her toward a wall, as I clap my hands to create spikes and Ed does the same from behind her. At the last time, I change the spikes into a jail and imprison her. Al is fighting against both the grandpa and Ling. At a moment, I am coming to help him, but Lan Fan breaks her jail and falls on me with a dagger. I barely block with a wall and she attacks me again. She's fast.... Too fast. Nothing comes to my mind. It's just blank and empty of any kind of plans I can be using right now. I'm trying to think and fight at the same time, and lose a little my attention, but the xingeses girl notices it and throws her weapon toward me. I want to dodge, but too late. I wait for the shock to come, but nothing ever happened. Opening my eyes, I see Envy, standing in front of me, removing the dagger from his bleeding shoulder and not smirking at all. Lan Fan backs a little, ready to fight again.

-Envy...?

-You're important for Father, don't think I did that because I care.

-Thanks anyway.

-Yeah.

He turns his arm into a blade and walks toward the girl, threatening her with it, but as he is at some meters from her, he stops and looks at me. I frown, not understanding.

I turn around but too late again. Envy is already stabbed by Ling and his blood splashed on my cheek. I whipped it away, disgusted, before creating a weapon and pointing it in front of me.

After a moment, somehow, Ling pierces me with his sword, making a hole in my belly. I gasp and wince in pain, waiting for him to remove his sword and regenerate, but he doesn't.

-I have an immortal prey, we can go back to Xing.

I use my last energies to kick him hard in the belly and send him fly with his sword. Red sparks appear around me as I begin to heal myself.
